1. It took me a moment to understand what "clean cuts" means.
Slasher movies -- not my favorite genre, even when done so well by Hitchcock. ;)

2. I didn't get it either, Longhorn-
until you just shared the meaning!! I don't like slasher movies either, at all. I think what makes Hitchcock's versions 'work', such as 'Psycho', was that he left much of the gruesomeness to one's imagination. :hi:
