1. is it technically? What does the law say?
Would it be an accident during the course of a felony? If you hit and kill someone with a car while fleeing a bank robbery, is it murder, or just an unfortunate accident, from the point of view of the law?

2. It is if done while in the commission of a felony, intentionally or not.
The person I was replying in the other thread seemed to want to minimize the effect of falling (or being pushed) from a
wheelchair. I pointed out that I knew of four people that had fallen from their chairs, and that three of them had suffered broken bones as a result. One of them had two broken femurs (a quad w/ really bad spasms), and the other two
had each broken a femur. The fourth person had a sprained wrist and bruises.

3. In Minneapolis petting a police horse is assault...
the unit was recently defunded and I am not going to fight to bring them back if this is the way they are going to behave.

4. Not an Assault for knocking someone out of wheelchair?
I am a disability rights advocate and activist, and in my
book, it absolutely IS assault when a person is knocked out of
their wheelchair.

During protests and demonstrations having to do with standing
up for our civil rights as people with disabilities, people
have been torn from their wheelchairs by officials too stupid,
ignorant, and bigoted to care. They do not see us as
"real" human beings because of our disability.
