Finishing a whole army for a Flames of War Tournament
Hubby miscounted, so I have to get sixty plus troops (15mm) painted by oh tomorrow, so we can test the army on Wednesday...

Russian armies are good for tournaments, but damn my eyes are going... and I have painted so much damn infantry...

Well the last ones are drying after their uniforms and skin tones were painted. I still need to do the straps and other details and then wash and highlight and base... I will need a vacation from the brush after this... he is just so lucky that I can paint fairly fast, and at a fairly high level...

2. I'm painting Italians
using the dip method. I'll never go back to standard painting for army-level paintjobs again.

Army Painter Desert Yellow over the whole figure -- this is a spray primer and color in one. Basic uniform color is done.

Flesh, gunstocks, boots, helmets get hit with appropriate colors really quicklike.

Whole figure dunked bodily into Strong Shade dip and allowed to dry. Instant shading and lining in one step.

Base and spray with dullcote.

Low level of effort with high level of results. I'm a believer.
