Poll question: Warhammer 40k anyone?
Well I have recently gotten in knee deep into 40k. I have admired the game from afar for years, but only recently began actually buying stuff and playing.

What race do you like the most, and for bonus points, what is your favorite unit?

For me the choice is pretty much Necrons. They are just awesome. I also like the Tau and will begin an army for them after I get this Necron thing done. :D

I also groove on the Tyranids, have you seen the new models??? In this months White Dwarf they have a huge thing about them --- fraggin' Carnifexes with 7 toughness and 5 wounds... plus regen, poisonous clouds, rending claws and a barbed strangler to boot! They are boasting that the new Carnifex can be put together a thousand different ways. I don't know if that is just hyperbole or not.

Anyway.....

IN THE GRIM DARKNESS OF THE FAR FUTURE THERE IS ONLY WAR

2. I play Eldar
But I enjoy Warhammer Fantasy more. It is more involved with the stragety aspects of flanking and manuvering than 40K.

3. I concur, and with the new system out...
my group is sort of rediscovering the game.

The new magic system rocks and the new skill/feat system is really refreshing.

4. Have you checked out the new World Book: Lustria?
It is pretty nifty. I hope they take 40k in a similar direction; a lot of interesting rules for events and campaigns.
