I'm going to build it myself. What I'm looking for is sites that recommend systems to build, with products that are gonna work together. Preferably tested systems.

I'm looking to spend $800 or below, and will use the system for gaming, mostly. I don't need to run Doom3 or anything, though I might wind up playing an MMORPG or 2.

1. Newegg
I had been shopping locally at the "home office" of a web store for quality overclocking capable stuff. They try everything out before they sell it to the public. However, all that testing comes at a price.

Now I just see what's recommended (Tom's Hardware, Anandtech, etc.), and buy it from Newegg. Much cheaper, fast service, cheap shipping costs, reasonable return policy.

There's not many combinations out there that'll result in unstable systems...it's just all in tweaking the settings to maximize stability.

Just ordered a Athlon 64 3000, 2 gigs PC 3700 memory, Gigabyte mobo from them to upgrade my existing system (Athlon XP 1800, 756 meg PC 2700, Chaintech mobo) that's been a very stable platform for gaming for the last 2 years or more.
