1. Well, the swine flu, so that means that pigs fly!
And no doubt someone will thus find a way to tie flu-related conspiracy theories to UFOs...

2. *cough*
Just something that ive been thinking of yesterday, but what if this "Swine Flu" thing going about is nothing but a False-Flag event to get people to stay in their homes and to avoid going outside and uncovering the Truth about UFO activity, especially with the recent press coverage about disclosure possibly happening next month. The Government might think people will actually find out the truth for themselves rather than being told a pack of lies on May 31st, and so they released this Virus early to scare people into staying in their homes.
A bit of a co-incidence isnt it that it happened 3 days after the Convention where the cards were dealt to to the Presidency, and the fact this Virus has been genetically modified to kill only Mexican populated areas and not one person in America or Europe has died from it.

I can't quite decide if it's real or a spoof, but unfortunately probably the former.

ETA: I love your pic!

3. Aww what a cute piggy!
BTW- for the record, thanks to the good info shared here, I went to Effect Measure and the little toddler who expired was from Mexico and, therefore, there is still no data that primary US H1N1 infections have caused a death from the strain in the US. Regardless, it is a tragedy.

I posted on the GD forum in a thread that I have been using to try and keep info. and updates in one place.

If anyone has any good info. to add please stop by! :hi:

Updates and info here:

Then, in that thread is where I posted the article about the toddler and some other stuff, from Effect Measure

4. I'm still wondering if the fatalities in Mexico
were zoonotic exposure..instead of caught from another person. Do you know if they have figured out where some of these victims were exposed? I know that H5N1 actually has recorded instances of person to person transmission but those cases seemed a little milder?

5. Actual data about transmission modes and cause of death are scarce
Edited on Wed Apr-29-09 03:15 PM by bluedawg12
Here are two good links that may shed some light. Not sure how it started, but, the notion of on going person to person spread is the one I note most commonly referenced.

Also, from Napolitano presser, I learned that US cases go back to around March 28.

Janet Napolitano and CDC presser:

http://www.cdc.gov/media/transcripts/2009/t090428.htm

>>This is a virus that spreads easily, person to person. Influenza viruses, in general, again, we're learning more about this virus, but they spread easily from person to person. And in general, they can spread before a person is symptomatic. Again, here we need to look at the transmission with this particular virus. I wanted to give answers to two questions that I received earlier. The earliest onset date for a case here was
March 28th. The latest onset date for a confirmed case in the United States is April 24th.<<

This Bloomberg article is pretty thorough and gives a good global picture:

If you find something definitive please share.
