Speechless.
One of my favorite woos has been spouting the "water for fuel" scam for a couple of days now in the E/E forum. I thought I had heard it al until this came up:

Well, in the for what it's worth department.... I was behind one of them mosquito control trucks... the kind that tool around the campgrounds at night... and believe it or not, my mileage jumped to 205. And after awhile, I was able to shut down the engine entirely and I was pulled along by the insect destroying fumes. At this point my mileage would have been infinity and that's about as good as it can get.

Does it get any better than that?

5. This is his third try too
The first water for fuel scam was from a guy who got caught in the fraud and had to pay the investor's money back.

The second scam he fell for was from a company that is going broke faster than ENRON did.

Now he has found another free energy scam. But the manufacturer says that it draws 25 to 60 amps. 0fer18 hasn't discovered that yet.

It is sad.

and "Spot the loony!"

Either that or he's one of us and putting the rest of the woos on, something I strongly suspect.

and yes, I sold health foods. I know how nuts some people can be and still walk around free and hold down jobs unmedicated.

You twit! Not surprised at the poster, it's the same crap as the Health Scare Lounge. Don't believe me? You're a shill. Look at all my links! Too bad I don't know much about physics or I could join the fun. And you're right, that deserves a DUzy. Let's all nominate! How do we do that? Isn't there someone we PM?

11. It's JeffR who gives out the DUzies.
There are some people, who could be either serious woos or spoofing the whole woo-woo scene, and you can never be quite sure which! I suspect it's the former with this one, sadly.

they'll make your car run with even... er... running. they probably cured his autism too. the next logical step is to see if they would pull along a car without a drive train. further testing will be needed to test whether they actually have magical powers only on four wheeled vehicles, or whether they can also affect other forms of locomotion. would those fumes, for example, bounce someone along on a pogo stick?

or is this just someone having a bit of a laugh at loonies him(or her)self?
