Daffodils/blooming bulbs
Edited on Fri Mar-21-08 08:16 PM by elleng
Stopped by my house where daffies are out; no spade or spoon, so could only break flower off with long stem. Its looked great for 3+ days.

If I'd been able to scoop out bulb with flower, could I have replanted it elsewhere, for continued blooming and next year too?

Thanks

1. It probably would have survived replanting at this time.
Fall is the best time to replant daffodils. My sister and I moved and had to replant some of our daffs in the spring when they were blooming, and almost all survived and came back strong the next year.
