I've seen plant catalogs directed for the high country; has anyone
seen one directed at the Great Lakes? What about native plants for New York/the Great Lakes region?

5. Thank you. I read the negatives and most seem to be about shipping
orders. So far we have not had that problem. My biggest worry about any company is the genetically modified plants. Am I getting them without really knowing it? I also worry about that if I buy from a local greenhouse.

6. Johnny's Seeds, Harris Seeds, and Stokes
Johnny's is the gold standard for varieties and germination rates. I love to phone them for advice. I have purchased from Harris and I like them.

I have heard Stokes recommended, because they have a good quality program.

Harris and Stokes are in the upstate NY area, Rochester, I think.

You should be happy with seed companies who serve the north. You would have to live south of Pennsylvania to want to use the southern seed companies.
