A king snake or two. We were over run with mice and rats due to all the chicken food that is in the hen house in the garden. Within a few months of the second king snake moving in, not a rodent to be found. They take an egg here and there but it's so worth it.

:hi:

4. That's my boy!
Skittles kitteh. Terrorizes all the dogs and kittehs (and me)! Mice wouldn't have a snowball's chance.

5. He's a very handsome boy.
I had a horse when I was growing up. My dad converted one stall of his garage to a horse stall and an area for grain and hay storage. The hay and grain attracted a lot of rodents. One day he brought home a beautiful female tabby who quickly fixed the rodent problem. :)
