here I go again...please bear with me...

but it's my landlord and the place we moved to a couple of months ago. I think I've come to the conclusion that the energy that is so negative is coming from her and her daughter.(her daughter lived there 3 years before we moved in) She and her mother have a love/hate relationship so I never know if they are speaking. When we first looked at the place, she made a comment about her mother owning it, but she lived in another state. She said this state was not big enough for the both of them to live peacefully. :wtf: That was a red flag, but of course I dismissed it as she was just joking.

Now, I get a statement from my landlord saying that we owe all this rent from the months (4) that we've lived there. I have no idea how she came up with such wrong figures, but I emailed her and said I will be faxing or mailing all my deposit slips (of course after I've made a copy of them). This woman is an elderly woman so I can understand the forgetfulness or confusion, but her daughter is suppose to be helping her keep this straight.

I get an anxiety attack every time she calls or emails me. I feel like I'm constantly being scolded--like a mother. (my own mother doesn't scold me like this)

We cannot move until this lease is up in 6 months, so any good thoughts or vibes would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to work with this negative energy by turning it around. After my husband's grandmother died and we took in some of her stuff, the energy did seem to change, but even now, that has been silenced. There is something that is so strange about this that I have really gotten very weary with living there.

1. Do you know a lawyer?

Or does your county have any facilities for legal aide? I would document every conversation. Write out as much as you can remember of conversations and add time of day and date and if the conversation was by phone or in person.

4. I just mailed her a copy of all the receipts

that she didn't put in her "total". They amounted to $2442! Why weren't these on record? (rhetorical question ...cause who knows?):shrug:

I'm really starting to think that she is getting forgetful and nothing else. Maybe I'm wrong, but it's just a gut feeling.

Still though...I'm watching this close:)

5. Tenants have a quite a bit of rights...

arm yourself with knowledge, you should be able to find it at your state's website - just in case. Your anxiety should go away with knowing your rights, Blue Roses.
