Its as if the forward lookout on the Titanic is being blamed for the ship hitting the iceburg and sinking.Makes no sense.What.so.ever.

1. People don't like to look at the slimy

Lots of people avoid looking at the slimy things under the rocks, and whoever exposes them to the light might as well have invented the slime so far as the people swimming in de-nial are concerned. Some members of my family can be like that, it is kind of hard to take, but it is terribly hard to change people or make them see what they want to avoid.

2. I am becoming`very disillusioned with

some of what is happening around my community.
Way too many people still stuck in the old ways and its really starting to drag me down.

You know what really sucks?I have to kick another rock over in the next couple of days.I would rather not but since this one involves someone who behaved inappropriately with a young child I have no other choice.Especially since the person was part of another inappropriate activity a few years back.One that was covered up,btw.
Can't wait for the fallout from this one to hit. Not.

3. Prayers for you

Hard thing, doing the right thing. It takes a good person to go ahead and do what is right. Best of luck to you. There are so many terrible cover-ups in this world at least there will be one less once you kick over your rock.

Maybe people who are brave enough to let the light in are the ones that will show everyone what the old, distructive ways are all about.

A man and a woman recently won a huge law suit against the school system here for being systematically sexually abused by several teachers when they were in Jr High in the late 70s/early 80s. That had been covered up all that time. The woman's mother had tried to bring it to the attention of the school when her daughter was just a child, but the result had been the school seeing to it that she lost custody of her child. All very sad, but after all these years justice was finally done, though of course it couldn't give the abused people their childhood's back.

4. I had a weird tiff with someone today, then three quite wonderful exchanges immediately afterward.

With the shift in high gear, some are afraid, and turn their fear into lashing out at those reminding them that which makes them uncomfortable. Send them love; it's a very hard time for some. (Lashing out in fear/discomfort was my modus operandi until very, very recently, so I have a tad of perspective!)

I hope that things turn out for the best for you and all involved. "Things turning out for the best" itself is certainly more possible now than ever before!
