My daughter, another Aquarius, just told me she's learned that her grandmother, my mother, who passed on in September, is on the Morman's newly baptised list (or whatever it is.) My daughter is FURIOUS, and not in the mood to be polite with such. (We're Jewish.) Me, I'm just breathing deeply.

My mother, who is still very much alive, was "baptized" by that group, and my genealogical work was stolen so they could do the same to my deceased relatives. I'm still not sure how they got Mom's name, as I was careful NOT to put it anywhere. No use in calling the LDS Church on it--they disavow all knowledge. I'm thinking of posting a notice on my genealogical site saying anyone caught doing this stunt will be hexed. Since I'm a direct descendant of a Salem "witch" maybe it would carry some weight with them.

Interesting about your mother. I assume they got my mother's name from publicly available info, but it ends up they got her soc sec number, too, according to my daughter.
