My daughter was microchipped
And I totally approve of this use of microchips!

The Tokyo Marathon put a chip in her shoe and I was able to track her progress. Every 5k I could see her time, and I could breathe a sigh of relief at the finish. This was last night. I had to stay up past my bedtime to keep refreshing the website. Thank goodness it was in both Japanese and English.

Generally speaking I am not a microchip fan, but this was wonderful to be able to look online for this. I am not sure if they do this with other marathons or not.

35,000 people were in the Tokyo marathon. I guess there were 35,000 microchips.

1. That was a good use of the microchips
as it kept her safe and gave you peace of mind. Also it was in her shoe and not under her skin, so it could be easily removed.
