Can regular energy work and meditation change your appearance?

I have been doing my meditation class since last fall, and level 3 starts in April...
My meditation lately, especially with my skin and pain body issues has been to remove the "suit" that hold all that junk, and reveal my shining self that I truly feel I AM underneath...like a snake shedding almost.

As I pursue my health over the next few months this is going to really be a big focus. and I plan to work on diet, movement, yoga, and taking some new medicine,...

what are your experiences with mentally changing your body?

I want to get feeling gorgeous so I can step into my life with joy, not hide behind my yukkyness...sugestions for meditation are welcome!

1. Yes

I have been told that my appearance has changed radically at different times in my life--the first time after initiation into a Sufi order. I have been given practices dealing with beauty, have done visualizations on my health, and have had acquaintances who haven't seen me for a while come up and tell me not only that I look good, but that I look like a whole different new person!

You know sometimes we just want to hear it from others who have had the experience as well...

It is an exciting proces for me, because I have always had others tell me..."you look the same!" after a number of years. It would be encouraging to have the opposite happen, maybe it is a hint that I am releasing old karmic patterns that have been embeded in my cells...?

3. I think mediating can bring about so many changes; physically,

mentally, emotionally,spiritually and on and on. IMHO, it's very cool that you're into it.

5. Well, there is that ol' witchy thing, the glamour...

The ability to change your appearance to be more appealing, simply through the energy you project instead of changing anything about your actual appearance. And it is most decidedly NOT like that swipe-your-hands-and-change-your-hair-color scene in The Craft! If that were the case, I'd have better hair!

Seriously, yes, I think that working with more positive energy gets rid of toxins and changes our aura (not to mention help us walk straighter and have a more pleasant expression on our faces--as opposed to slouching down the street glowering and not even realizing it, which so many people do!)
