Thursday, Sun conjunct Uranus...any info?
Lance Ferguson has a webpage I read every day.

www.skywatchastrology.com

He has a cryptic comment about tomorrow.

QUOTE:
Note the time: 8:26PM CDT. That’s 6:26PM PDT, 9:26PM EDT. (Just to keep you aware of changing the times given here to your local time.)

Because this is when the Sun exactly conjuncts Uranus in the heavens. Your call on what to do then.
END QUOTE

Anybody have any idea what this is about?

THANX PEOPLE!!! :D

1. Hmm,
That's tonight, Thursday. Personally, I plan to be asleep then, so I won't have to make any decisions, I hope. Guess I'll leave the radio on, just in case. :-)

OK, I, too, would like to know if anyone here has a take on what the Sun exactly conjuncting Uranus would signify.

In gratitude,
Hermy

2. Sun conjuncts Uranus once every year.
Doesn't it? I figure if it is a conjunction that happens that frequently, it is unlikely to be superimportant.

3. Showing my astrological ignorance here,
but isn't Uranus the ruling planet of Aquarius? If so, what with the big conjunction in Aquarius, maybe there is a connection--you know, ushering in another step towards the dawning of the new age.

4. He says at the start of the blurb what it means
Edited on Thu Mar-12-09 10:08 AM by Callie McAllie
"Students of astrology will find this day instructive as they observe people acting out their rebellious, inventive, original and Uranian impulses."

Got any rebellious, inventive or original impulses? Tonight's the night!

5. PlanetWaves | No Room For Fear
http://planetwaves.net/pagetwo/2009/03/11/no-room-for-fear/

With the Sun approaching a conjunction to Uranus today, the energy is high, erratic, unpredictable and — if we’re paying attention — brilliantly creative. Whenever you see Uranus prominent in the sky, expect the unexpected. The aspect is exact tomorrow but it’s applying all day today, so it’s in full force and effect.

snip

As we make these changes or try to, there is the potential for enormous fear to come up, because we have to leave behind the two things that humans depend on most to get through the day — external structure and expectations. Those things are Saturn functions, and Saturn (in Virgo) is opposite this amazing conjunction we are experiencing in Pisces. Saturn also represents fear. Saturn in Virgo is the fear to think for yourself, one of the most important boundaries that we have in life. This is a phobia; it’s a debilitating fear without an apparent cause; neither is there a conscious consequence: “If I think for myself, this will happen.”

With this Uranian, imaginative energy running so high, I suggest you ask yourself just what you’re afraid of and why. I think that fear needs to be a conscious act, so that we can consciously choose whether we want it, and decide if it’s helping us in any way. Do we really have room to waste our lives paralyzed by fear? And while it’s possible to get over fear on paper, in theory and in the therapy room, can anything really do the trick except for taking action and seeing something constructive or creative happen as a result? Getting over fear requires taking a risk.

In other news, the Moon ingresses Libra at 2:45 pm EDT. The first thing it does will be to square Pluto in Capricorn, so this takes the relational energy of the Libra Moon and turns it introspective. If you can go there for real, then the next thing that happens is a series of trines to all those planets in Aquarius over the next two days, opening many social doors and unexpected pathways to new ideas.

6. It's usually no big deal, but,
Since Uranus is in a 2 year "dogfight" opposite Saturn in Virgo, it could be more important than usual. As the scales keep tipping back and forth (for you and the world) between conservative Saturn in Virgo and radical Uranus in Pisces, Uranus gets the nod now FOR A FEW DAYS as the Sun bolsters it.

This opposition is very much "responsible" for the media and wide-spread "panic" that is going on. We need to see that both sides are needed and not try to be on the winning "team" which just leads to more and more polarization.

For now, the tilt is to the liberal side; it swings back and forth.

My take anyway...

7. So for a double Capricorn with a lot of Pisces,
that may explain why I am a wigwam and a teepee this week. (Too tense)

10. everybody is
really experiencing Saturn opposite Uranus
that's why the people are getting "nastier" on GD too. And, all around
we're trying to break the old mold and learn to live together
I'm hopeful

8. Hmmmm.
THree days now I have gone to my bank to talk about a loan on my house.

Tuesday I talk to the lady who is the bank president. She says one thing.

Then on Wed. I talk to Banker Boy, who is a VP, who I really can't relate to (A repuke, says Obama scares him, young, never had to look for a job, has no creative imagination and I'm sure it does not bother him at all). He says another.

Thursday I went back and shot the breeze with President Lady (who is old enough to remember the end of WW II, and thinks the stimulus bill is a good idea, because of the New Deal and FDR), but didn't sign anything.

I didn't know that bankers might disagree on a loan. I thought they were like robots, being bean counters.

11. This may be trite and laughable - but if a key word is conjuncts - we experienced
Edited on Sat Mar-14-09 06:48 PM by peacetalksforall
this with the Jon Stewart - Jim Cramer Thursday night stand-off which had a build up over a three to seven days.

Stewart did something amazing - he spoke for the people - he challenged the ethics - something we put into words every day, but something our leaders only play lip service to.

Somehow I feel this something that took place was important and in some way will have life. It can be said that what Stewart did was rare because of the number of minutes he had, the viewership, the post attention, and the seriousness. Crime, our state of existence, the trial of Madoff. It can also be considered mere throw-away, easily forgotten comedy.

But, talk about transparency!

Hope no one minds me tying this astrological positioning to this event, but it was a challenge, a stand-off, rebellious, inventive.
