Astro forecast-Full Moon, March 10th/Virgo-Pisces
fr: Stephanie Austin <stephanie@ecoastrology.com>

These new and full moon updates are sent as a service to my astrology
clients, students, and friends. I’m touched by how many people forward
them to their friends, family, and colleagues.

NEW MOON/MONTHLY FORECAST
In Port Townsend, WA
Thursday, March 26, 2009 7 – 9 PM $15

This forecast overs the important alignments for the next four weeks
and how to take advantage of the opportunities they provided.

Dear Friends,

The next full moon peaks on Tuesday, March 10 at 7:38 PM PDT at 21º
Virgo-Pisces. This is one of the most important Full Moons of 2009; it
amplifies the ongoing opposition between Saturn and Uranus, an
evolutionary imperative in effect from the fall of 2008 through the
summer of 2010. Saturn rules form on all levels, from the
configuration of our ego to the formation of governments and
corporations. Uranus corresponds to freedom, innovation, and
revolutionary forces — the breakdown of outmoded structures and rapid
cultural changes. Saturn corresponds with the laws of classical
physics; Uranus, the quirky realities of quantum mechanics. Their face-
off heightens the contrast between hierarchy and democracy, status quo
and progress, fear and freedom.

The last times these two planets opposed each other were the periods
1965–1967, 1918–1920, and 1873–1875, all times of major social,
political, and economic challenges. During the previous Saturn–Uranus
opposition in the mid 1960s (which occurred at 12°–25° Pisces–Virgo),
we saw large-scale civil rights and antiwar demonstrations; Britain’s
economic standstill and the devaluation of the pound; China’s
“Cultural Revolution”; the rise of “Flower Power”; the first walks in
space by Soviet and American astronauts; and the international spread
of supermarkets and mass tourism.

During the 1918–20 oppositions (24° Leo–Aquarius to 6° Virgo–Pisces),
we saw a global economic recession after the end of WWI; the rise of
Gandhi and the redefining of many national borders; the 19th Amendment
giving women the right to vote, along with race riots and strikes in
the United States; the first air crossing of the Atlantic and the
first public radio broadcasts. The preceding oppositions in 1873–75
(2°–20° Aquarius–Leo) coincided the establishment of socialist parties
and financial crises throughout Europe, the crash of the Vienna Stock
Exchange due to dishonest manipulations, the closing of the U.S. Stock
Exchange for ten days, plunging real estate values, and widespread
bank failures.

History repeats itself, until we make different choices. Indeed, one
definition of insanity, attributed to Albert Einstein, is doing the
same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Each
cycle, each day, each moment, we have a choice — between standing in
love or collapsing into fear, between staying asleep or waking up.
Where the Sun at 21° Pisces falls in your chart is where you must
surrender, trust your intuition, and take a leap of faith; where the
Moon at 21° Virgo activates your chart is where you need to set
healthy boundaries, respect your limits, and honor your priorities.
Those born with Uranus in Virgo (November 1, 1961 – June 24, 1969) and
Pluto in Virgo (October 19, 1956 – July 30, 1972) are being given an
especially urgent wakeup call to own and express their power. Neptune,
the modern ruler of Pisces, is close to Mars and Chiron in Aquarius,
pressing us to transcend our illusions and act on our ideals.
Jupiter’s proximity to the North Node and Juno in Aquarius supports
collaborations with like-minded souls and the formation of new
alliances and technological advancements.

We are not separate. We are not alone. We are not powerless. As
Carolyn Casey points out: “We dreamed it up, and we can dream it
down.” Use the power of this Full Moon to strengthen your light,
eliminate distractions, and take the next big step on your path.
Remember: “If we are facing in the right direction, all we have to do
is keep on walking." (Buddhist proverb)

1. "History repeats itself until we make different choices"
I'm living that right now.
And I'm actually very thankful to have another chance to 'get it right'.

4. reading the chart
maybe someone can enlighten me about how to find these places on my birth chart?

Where the Sun at 21° Pisces falls in your chart is where you must
surrender, trust your intuition, and take a leap of faith; where the
Moon at 21° Virgo activates your chart is where you need to set
healthy boundaries, respect your limits, and honor your priorities.

6. Go to astro.com
and get your natal chart. (If you don't know how to do that, let us know.)
On the upper left hand corner is a hyperlink, View the additional tables (pdf). Click on it and it will take you to a page with a couple of charts. The one on your right lists where each house starts. See which house has Pisces in it -- it looks like a slanted numeral 7 with a big O to its bottom right.
Once you find the pisces house, see what number it starts at. If it's after 21, then 21 Pisces is in the prior house. If the number is lower than 21, then 21Degrees Pisces is in that house.
Clear?

5. I love this quote:
“We dreamed it up, and we can dream it down.”

Wow.

Thank you very much for this. How much longer is this Saturn-Uranus opposition?

7. How do you set limits on 12th house stuff?
I really liked this message and the other links. Like Callie, I have questions regarding this part: "Where the Sun at 21° Pisces falls in your chart is where you must surrender, trust your intuition, and take a leap of faith; where the Moon at 21° Virgo activates your chart is where you need to set healthy boundaries, respect your limits, and honor your priorities."

For me, 21 degrees Virgo falls in my 12th house. How do you set limits, boundaries on 12th house stuff? I understand the 12th house to rule the unconscious, secret enemies, addictions. How do you set limits on your unconscious or secret stuff? I don't have addictions, assuming you don't count DU.
