A dream within a Dream.

I'm standing in our dining room, hubby is in the breezeway looking for something. I start to float 3 feet off the floor, "Wee, I'm FLOATING!" hubby walks through the kitchen and sees me floating and gets startled that I could hurt myself so he grabs my feet and pulls me back down.

Now I'm in bed and the next thing I know is that there is a force that is dragging me down the bed. I'm awake yet I can't keep the force from dragging me down, down, down, THUMP, I land on the floor. This wakes hubby up and again he is a little startled. He offers me his hand and helps me get back into bed. I start telling him about my floating dream and that I needed to write the ASHA group about it. He laughs, I laugh, but before I can get out of bed Sango my kittie comes and sits on top of me, her right eye is shining with a large green spot. and we get out of bed and head to the bathroom.

This is when I wake up realizing that I have been dreaming this whole time. It was very surreal. I was a little taken back, as I really thought the second half of the dream had taken place in real life.
I was scared to get out of bed so I lay there thinking about the dreams. Our bed is on the south wall and has a headboard where you can put things. We have an alarm clock with those typical green lights. On the north wall we have a dresser with a stereo receiver, on top of that is a small TV. So, I'm laying there staring at the reflection of the alarm clock in the stereo and TV, and let my eyes look around the room when I start to notice very faint golden flashes at the top of the ceiling. I notice these flashes a few more times. :wow:

Sango is sleeping beside me on my left hand side of the bed, hubby still sound asleep on the right side of me.

3. The title my in the OP, just in case it didn't make sense, let me try and explain my thinking

The reasoning to the title was the forces of Nature effected me in both directions, the Vertical Plane (the floating up) the Horizontal Plane (being pull off my bed) both having me in a state of elevation of Ecstasy (floating up, and being in control) and some what fearful (being pulled from unknown sources) anyway I hope this makes some sort of sense:shrug:

4. Golden flashes

correspond to the golden light I saw during the ice storm--this was in a totally dark bedroom (no windows, no electricity, and no candles or lights on and the door shut). I'm glad it is manifesting for you as well.

5. It wasn't real bright, and I wondered if my eyes were playing tricks on me

but I'm pretty sure that I saw the golden flashes more than once. I wonder what it means in my case, since I have been having difficulties maintaining a sense of purpose which brings to the surface doubts about myself.

7. To be on the safe side, get your eyes looked at. Golden light flashes could be

the beginning of a detached retina and you don't want that because if the docs don't catch it in time, you could go blind. If they don't find anything, then look for a spiritual meaning.

6. A dream within a dream. Those really freak me out because I often

know that the embedded dream is a dream and I try to wake up. When I wake up I go to the kitchen or bathroom in what seems like a very definite reality, then something like my cat wakes me up for sure and I still find myself in bed. I don't sleep walk but it really freaks me out!
