Astrologers whats the prognosis for Bush's Tues Speech?
http://www.gulf-times.com/site/topics/article.asp?cu_no=2&item_no=41865&version=1&template_id=43&parent_id=19

WASHINGTON: President George W Bush will deliver a major address to US troops and the nation about Iraq on Tuesday night from the US military base at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the White House said.

“This is a critical moment in Iraq,” White House spokesman Scott McClellan said yesterday in announcing the speech. “This is a real time of testing.”

McClellan said the speech would be delivered at 8pm, and that the White House has asked US television networks to air the address live.

Bush is expected to use the prime time speech to outline his strategy in Iraq amid increasing public doubts about the war.

hope he has no planetary helpers! lol

1. Aggressive, over- optimistic, grandiose and arrogant
Moon Mars conjunction square the Sun and opposite Jupiter, a very aggressive T square with poor judgment and over confident

I am assuming the time is 9 PM EDT?

I don't think the speech will have much impact despite its cheerleader quality. Trouble and some unexpected upsets could hit Bush around mid July and after, when Saturn crosses Inaugural Sun and Uranus moves back to oppose his Mars. From mid-July through August things could get quite dramatic. The people are rebeling more and more. The impeachment word has been talked about more and more though I don't think it will happen. But just the fact that people are talking about it is a huge shift.

5. Even with the 8 PM time
The Moon Mars is in the 3rd, Jupiter in the 9th. I think he will put forth the usual idealism (freedom, democracy, etc) and be very upbeat and aggressive. There will also be the twinkle in the eye charm, the usual folksy humour. I think it will be too much, too pushy, and very macho. We won't see the fantasyland piece though. He will be determined and strong but not too far in never never land. But I don't see him getting much traction out of it.

10. I did on the radio
AAR local affiliate carried it... aparently since I listened I missed the tears of our misleader... I decided to play a game of how many times he mentioned 9.11 (six by my count), terror 30+, hard work 20 +, duty (he has no idea what that is), 10+...

Yep he stuck to the usual themes, but he also asked for people to go enlist, for the cause is great I think he is finally layinig out the reasons for a draft

7. Sally McDonald Has A Point Of View Also
"The aspects between Bush particularly and this speech are pretty telling. Uranus conj. Uranus. There is a t-square between the two charts that includes Moon/Mars on the 28th, oppose Saturn, and square Pluto. Neptune opposes Neptune, Jupiter square Ft. Braggs Mars (Bush will not be able to resist playing the war-time President, the know it all, and he will be pleading. Bush's sun conj. Ft. Braggs. Pluto, Pluto swallows the Sun. The Mercury/Jupiter conj. will square the US Mercury, he overplays his hand. The White House will make sure it's a friendly, to Bush crowd, and that will be a mistake. Between now and Tuesday, he will hear "soldiers in harm's way" more than he cares to and it will make him feel more stiff and restricted while at Ft. Bragg, he would also be wise not to take Karl Rove with him. Rove needs to back off and hide out for awhile. Claudia is right Karl has put his foot in doo doo. They are still operating off the belief that their 9/11 love fest is still covering them. Because of their disconnect they haven't yet realized how much frustration has set in out here and they think they can still get the people back in their camp. They cannot."

9. Ha! After hearing Bush's speech, I think Nolle nailed this one again .
In his June report he states:

There is good news this month: lots of it. Mercury and Venus stay within a few degrees of each other all the way from June 20 through their June 27 and July 9 conjunctions at 29° 26' Cancer and 13° 32' Leo respectively, until they finally get beyond a few degrees separation on July 17). This is a sure sign that the spin doctors, publicity people, ad writers and all manner of Pied Pipers and sweetly singing sirens are cranking out more self-serving PR than a battalion of triple Virgos working overtime can fact-check. (Mercury and Venus move from conjunct Saturn to opposite Neptune, after all: somebody's trying to put lipstick on a pig, you can be sure of it.) When the authorities tell you they've got the bad guy, or they have the situation well in hand, don't you believe 'em. They're whistling past the graveyard.

Actually, wouldn't have been difficult to predict this...just their usual modus operandi. I read somewhere that even the applauses were 'managed' (according to ABC), while some soldiers sat on their hands.

13. Bush Speech Draws Career Low T.V. Audience
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - President Bush's latest address to the nation, urging Americans to stand firm in Iraq, drew the smallest TV audience of his tenure, Nielsen Media Research reported on Wednesday.

Live coverage of Bush's half-hour speech on Tuesday night from the Ft. Bragg military base in North Carolina averaged 23 million viewers combined on four major U.S. broadcast networks and three leading cable news channels, Nielsen said.

Designed largely to bolster sagging public support for the persistently bloody conflict in Iraq, the speech fell 8.6 million viewers shy of Bush's previous low as president, his Aug. 9, 2001 address on stem cell research, which was carried on six networks.

Even Bush's last prime-time address, his April 28 speech on Social Security overhaul, drew more viewers: 32.7 million...cont'd
