Rediscovering the Power of Crystals - OMG!

I first dabbled in crystal healing years ago but did not get far. I guess I was not in the right place for them to work well on me. I could feel there was energy there but did not notice much effect other than my little amethyst cluster was great at drawing out pain. Fast forward to last fall when my stepGranddad had a heart attack. I was going past a metaphysical shop so i stopped in to get something for him. I was immediately drawn to a piece of dark green stone that I found was aventurine that I *knew* was meant for him. It was only as I was checking out that I remembered aventurine was for the heart chakra. This got me reading up on crystals again since by now I had forgotten most of what I learned years before. Information can be contradictory or simply did not resonate with me so finally I started trying to tune into photos of different stones. Some things gave me quite a jolt which got my ethustiasm really going so I ordered some since the local shop had such a tiny selection. I got such a rush :crazy: when I got my package I don't dare dive in like I usually will. There is power in them there stones!!! This even before I cleanse and charge 'em! :bounce:

With my reaction I am being very cautions only using one at a time when I am not just taking a quick taste of the energy. I bought several root chakra stones to help me with related issues especially grounding and fear/anxiety. As I have lots of Air and little Earth in my chart and have trouble staying fully in body I also figured it was best to start working with these stones instead of the tempting tektite pendant I was given as a belated Christmas gift which made my third eye tingle and pulse :crazy: :bounce:

The past few days all I have used is Jet. OMG OMG OMG I don't know why this isn't a more popular stone! OMG! It just sucks the negativity out of me. I rub in on my aches and it helps the pain. I rub it on my jaw joints and I yawn and yawn and just want to melt from the peacefulness. I rubbed it on my neck & upper spine and felt shivers and an electric current shoot down it. I think it even helped a wonky vertabrae move into place because as I made circles right over it I burst out laughing and felt something move. There was a slightly larger than average gap between that vertabrae and the next one that is now feeling normal. I got two pieces and wish I could afford to stuff my matress with the stuff! I gave my second piece to my Mother who loves hers possibly as much as I do mine :) I rubbed her jaw joint with it and I thought she was going to purr like a cat. Oh and my kitties seem to love it as well! I rub it down their little spines and over their foreheads and they act I am giving them an especially good brushing :) I tried holding it in my left hand and beaming it's energy out my right at one cat and 3 others ran over and rolled around on the floor like they were getting a kitty massage!!!

A couple more things about Jet - I feel like it is aligning and balancing my chakras and not just grounding like Hematite. It may be imaginary but I feel like I stand straighter after using it so maybe the energetic alignment helps physical alignment. A couple sites said Jet makes Kundalini rise. I don't feel this exactly true as it hasn't triggered a surge in my. It feels more that it helps clear the path of energy blockages and improves balance and alignment which would allow Kundalini to rise easier imo. :shrug:

I would like to purchase the Healing Stones and Chakra Set, but I'll have to wait until I can afford it. But hopefully our client will be sending us a check soon, they were suppose to have sent it by now, but alas I guess we're gonna have to hound them for payment.

I'm also wondering if the place where I have bought beads have the same effects that are noticeable. I have purchased Lapis, Garnet, Amethyst, Carnelian, beads. I've made bracelets and necklaces with these beads, but most of them I have given as presents to family and friends, so I'm not sure if anyone notices a difference when wearing them.

I'll start a post with pics of some of them, along with the pendulum I made with my Quartz Crystal and the bag I crocheted to keep it in.

19. Healing Stones? do you mean one of their kits for a specific issue?

No I bought the vip chakra set, a mixed grab bag they sell by size and the half pound, plus some specifics like the jet. I got in when they were still doing their 20% holiday sale & the chakra kits were only 14.99 which helped plus combined my buy with a couple other people. If you have any crystal loving friends and relations it makes it much less expensive to buy a set of say rose quartz to split instead of buying one or two at a time at one of the few local places that sell crystals.

Actually I splurged and bought to vip chakra sets for myself. One for me and one for me to use on others. When I get them fully cleansed & charged and had a chance to make friends with the energies I am going to offer free distance treatments with crystals & reiki to anyone here who wants them. My general idea is to offer them two ways. One is to set a time where I do the treatment at the same time the recipients sit or lie down for the treatment period. The second is I make an attempt to encapsulate the treatment sending it to the recipients who then can call it in at will at a later time such as right before sleep. Personal info is unnecessary but feedback would be wonderful even if it is just feeling a bit more relaxed than the usual.

Personally beads have not effected me as much as stones like these but it probably is that as they were handled more than chunks that have only been polished need more cleansing and charging first.

Do you remember the old Dawn dish soap ad where a drop of soap dissolved skin of grease on the sink of dishes? That is how it feels to me when I use it on me and my Mother.

OK now I am delibrately going into some old grief of my own.... yep it eases. I feel it in my heart so I put it on my heart and it eases. Then when grief tightened my throat it the muscles relaxed. OK I have to chase it as knots of it rise up but it is helping.

One way you might test Jet on yourself is to look at a photo of it and send a string of energy from your heart to the Jet with the intention that you only receive the pure Jet energy and see if you feel it ease any blockage there yourself. Or go to the post in this thread where I transmitted some energy from my piece of Jet to get a taste of it's effects.

I used to be active on a homeopathy yahoo list. There was one practitioner who claimed that just writing the name of the remedy and putting the paper under your pillow was as just as effective as taking the remedy. I haven't tried it, but want to because the remedy I think I need now is only available with Rx. I do know that there is a practice in homeopathy of giving a REAL sugar pill, one that has no remedy. It is not told to the patient. My old homeopathic practitioner told me about it, but didn't teach me that part, and I've never seen it in a book.

20. My Bronzite almost sent my bodyworker out of body today

She still loved it just couldn't hold it for long if she was to work on me! She said it also helped her connect with her and my guides. It is fascinating how it grounded me and my Mother, lifted her up but scrambled you. She too got the sensation that I did of being a vast pillar anchored in the earth only she was launched up instead of down like me. I suppose with her years of work on self including yoga she didn't need or could much improve her grounding. Me, I am still building that base before I am ready to be rocket launched into the celestial sphere while still incarnate!

I also took my jet which she too loved. I put the Bronzite at my feet to help grounding during the session and Jet at the back of my neck. What's it for? I'll tell you what happened here.

A couple of hours ago, I had a huge fight with my host (ex-h #1). We've been divorced since 1980. I was upset with the cable guy, Internet already went down, and so the guy and I had a few cross words when he showed up. Just some mis communications. It didn't help that they hung up on me last night.... So, ex-#1 tries to talk me down, convince me I'm wrong. I cautioned him to stop talking, but he kept up until I finally said something that got to HIM, so he told me to STFU and don't talk to him for the rest of the day. He is very controlling. When we were married, I spent most of my time fantasizing on how to get the hell away from him. I think I resent somewhat that I wasted my 20's on the likes of him. I was so naive'. I took a drive out by the lake. I need to see water, and miss it so much. There's a lake right down the street here. Not the same at all, however. It didn't help. I still had that heavy heart, tight chest. UNTIL, I just read bloodstone. I was finally able to breathe normally and that tight fist is gone from my chest!

31. A healing with the help of jet, carnelian & bronzite

My Mother came home this evening with hands swollen and aching and knotted muscles in her right arm. I think it likely she either has arthritis or her new cholesterol med is doing exactly what one of the previous ones did :( She refused to get it checked since this started a couple of weeks ago so I thought I would see if I could at least give her some relief for the weekend. What I tried helped a lot but if this recurs I be cruel to be kind and let her hurt until she goes to the doctor to get it checked out.

I was taught a way to draw out blocked, unhealthy energy years ago by an energyworker. Somehow I picked up the trick and can pull it out with my left hand and send it out harmlessly through me out my right hand. I held my Mother's right hand in my left with a piece of jet between them to see if it would help increase the amount of bad vibes I could vacuum out. Oh boy oh boy did it work! Woosh! After a time I noticed her hand and knuckles did not look so flushed and did not feel hotter than normal any more so I switched to the left hand. After a bit I handed my Mother a carnelian ring to wear even tho the only finger it fit was her pinky not thinking of it doing anything. The intensity tripled and I came ungrounded so I got my bronzite stones out putting one under each knee on the chair I sat upon. THEN I could handle it! When the intensity dropped off I switched back to the right hand putting the ring on that hand and again holding the jet between our palms. I also took her piece of jet and held it at the elbow joint top, bottom, and both sides and each time felt an increase in the energy releasing & moving on only when I felt the intensity drop off :bounce: Then I did the same to her wrist although I didn't feel as much of an effect there. By the time her taped soap opera was over I felt enough had been done for now and she said she felt relaxed and peaceful with little ache left in her arm and hands.


Oh one more thing - she picked up the vacuum trick on the first try and worked on my third eye and sinuses for me :bounce: I am SOOOO proud of my Mother! She never used to be interested in things metaphysical like this and wanted to try to see if she could help me in return. I am very very blessed to have this woman as my Mom!

Sweet celestial lunar third eye stimulating energy named after the Moon Goddess Selene. Gentle and yet I feel POWER waiting to be unleashed! :crazy: I have been drawn to this personification of the Moon for years now so I was very happen to learn there was more than just Moonstone that called in lunar vibes and named for this divine aspect!!!

Be sure to ground if you are not already grounded as this opens/stimulates the higher chakras the most I feel while still effecting the lower. I don't know where this stone came from or if it is a specific kind of meteorite.
