Well the update on the Tribune job is that they are in a "hiring freeze" and taking their circulation down by a couple days. So no go on a traineeship... the Mg Ed called me last night at 8:30pm to chat and tell me, and she will call for writing as the need arises and so at least we are still cool...

whatever... I am not as depresed as I thought I would be. I guess I have been "let down" by the paper so many times in the last decade, that it is like trying to get into something that I don't belong in...

so now what?

well, plan B was to take back my position as a substitute teching asst (nearby school districy is very small, near the Reservation and has NO subs on their list)e, finish my degree over the next year while on welfare, picking up hours at the elementary school, and freelancing ... and than get my credential... or maybe teach at the college level....

I wonder where the Universe wants to lead me...?

as I sit here today with a helluva cold - half surfing the job boards, half surfing the spiritual channelings,
I see a pattern that God is taking care of it, so it may be okay for me to take today "off" and just nurture myself a little.
no stress, just rest.

...and my meditation and intuition level 2 class begins tonight for 8 weeks...and I am GOING dammit! even if I AM sneezing!lol

Sorry to hear that, JG. Remember when you asked me what I thought of the e-mail you got from them, and I said "cautious optimism"? I think that was what I was picking up--that the managing editor wanted you but she wasn't sure she'd get permission to hire you.

Well, that just sucks.

I would recommend taking it easy for a while. Don't forget we're enmeshed in Mercury retrograde, which could make a hash of things. (Hey, maybe the managing editor will get clearance after Merc ret is over...?)

Take care of yourself, get better, leave your feelers out there, and see what comes into your orbit. :hug:

2. yap, I have held that cautious optimism for a while with them

.... but the reality of the Pluto thing needs to be considered.
The establishments I "thought" were unshakeable are not withstanding the shift...

so I will have to see what the new creation will be, and possibly help "dream" it into existince too...

but ya, for now....lots of rest, fluids, salt baths and chakra clearing...
