9. Blessings to EVERY heart!
I just returned from our Yuletide potluck and drumming, candle circle and etc...

my daughter came with me for the first time, drummed and danced to the bongos - and this is the first year I have made it to the event... we drummed down the sun, lit candles for our year's intentions...
this afternoon we did a special group meditation and went really deep, let go of last year and brought in the ease & joy of 2009...

got SUCH a good feeling of this tide turning,

and realized something really cool - that as I went through the last year in meditation, and allowed what was no longer needed to let go, and the lessons and images of importance to bubble up - that even though I know I have had some really thick & hard times this year - the things that "stuck" were the beauty of my mountains, swimming in the lake, snuggles from the kids and cat...

the sweetness is what sticks, not the sorrow or fear - YAY!
amen, a-ho!...
