1. I wonder if it "hums" when you are there?

Maybe it has that low level buzzing sound...


I keep a dish on my desktop with assorted crystals in it along with my paper clips. Mainly I keep it there to distract kids when the parents are in my office. I find that kids love to pick up those crystals and look at them. I have to say, however, that I have several adults every year that come into my office and they will pick a crystal out of that dish and hold it while they are in visiting with me. The first couple of times I was kinda surprised, but I have seen it often enough now that it barely registers.

Lawzamighty, I think if I actually went into that cave I'd vibrate into another dimension!

I can't wait to show this pic to MG Jr. He's fascinated by the story of Atlantis, and just the other day we were talking about what it was like. He asked if they had cars (of course), and I told him some people think they did have vehicles that operated on a power source we don't know about. He asked how it sank into the ocean, and I told him the various theories, including the one that Atlanteans misused the power generated from giant crystals.

This photo can help him see how giant "giant crystals" really are.

I used to keep a lot of crystals in my office too, Laura, and I witnessed the same behavior. In fact, I made sure my office was such a protected space, that the "good" people would come in and sit down, even if they weren't invited to (but that was okay by me), and say what a great office I had, while the "icky" people would come no farther than the doorway (and that was okay by me too!) The thing is, my office was no different from anyone else's office (dimensions, appearance)...except for my little "geegaws" strategically placed on my desk and windowsill. Hee. :D
