I'm really, REALLY disturbed by some of the foaming-at-the-mouth crowds at the McCain-Palin rallies the past couple of days (I'm gay, and have always harbored a secret fear that I would be among the first to be trucked away when the fascists take over). This is just the dark forces railing against their ultimate demise....r-right?

1. What I have been feeling for several months now

is that Obama will be elected with a landslide. Despite the latest smears and crowd reactions at McCain rallies, my feelings have not changed.

What I think we are seeing is planted anger (as well as some real anger), and, the reactions we see are being hyped by the media because McCain is losing.

Of course there will be anger when Obama is elected. I am willing to bet, however, that the SS has it covered. Think about it. The least regarded president in US history (think W) still lives.

2. It's already over.

He's already got the election. It's done. There is no room in this world of light for that side of darkness any longer. They are just putting up a fight..a really, really loud one.

3. Remember that fear empowers the dark forces

I used to worry about this issue for my sister who's gay, but lately it seems the pendulum is swinging towards the light. You will be fine as long as you live your life in joy, peace and happiness. Rest assured that the law of attraction is real - what you focus on comes to you. In other words, it's all up to you. And know that many people are sending their protective light and love to you from this side of the veil as well as the other. :grouphug:

4. Not to fear

I'm starting to think that they can't wait to unload the problems they created on Dems, so I'm not fearful of going to the Halliburton Happy Camps like I once was. I think the Rethugs can't wait to get out of D.C. and slither back under their rocks.

5. Keep a couple of things in mind:

The crowds, foaming at the mouth as they may be, are far smaller than the crowds that Barack Obama or Michelle Obama or Joe Biden, all of whom campaign separately, not as a group. So overall, they are appearing to only a fraction of the numbers that the other three are appearing to.

We're seeing the last, bitter, futile grasp for power on the part of the already defeated.

when I see Michele interview and they try to bring up the crap, she always gets right back to the issues - she doesn't appear fazed by their crap or the news people trying to make it something it is not and that they know it is not and still ask it is a crock and tells me they are crappy news people and that included larry king and jon stewart trying to make it something - it is crap - the repukes are not covering as much ground and if it was not or sarah palin there might not be anyone at his little gatherings

6. Best thing to do--turn it off

Whatever frightens you--turn it off. It's not avoidance, it's surrounding yourself with positive thoughts and rejecting negative ones.

I used to go to a lot of conspiracy theory Web sites, read apocalyptic and dystopian novels, and just basically scare myself with what frightened me more than monsters, zombies, or serial killers--thoughts of a fascist U.S. and a theocratic government. A couple of years ago, I even made a point of having a serious talk with my husband, to make sure he understood that if I ever disappeared, I didn't do it by choice--if the day came that he couldn't find me, that means I "was disappeared". (I'm a witch and was in a pretty prominent coven in my area that has a strong lineage and ties to even more prominent witches on a national scale. My former elder was certain her phone was tapped.) I was THAT bad.

I turned it all off--walked away. It really helps. It also helps to know that we're over the hump and well on the way toward the light. I still have fears that rear their ugly heads, but those ugly heads are a lot smaller and much more easily squished.

7. Right.

Go outside. Get some air. Go for a walk. Turn off the TV, the radio, the computer. Talk on the phone to a good friend or two. Laugh. Laugh really hard. Read a book that is strictly fiction.

8. Contrary to the mood

that I felt in early 2003, similar to yours, I am now of the mind that those behaviors will very soon be completely unacceptable in the New Era.

While I was away from here for a few weeks, I became very morose. The polarities in the world were overwhelming me. It was a relief to get back here and read some good news and get my perspective straightened out. You asked the right forum.

I'm getting really, really sick-in-the-gut feelings about these rallies. Some horribly sick energy is being raised at them and it's building to a crescendo of mass psychosis. I don't get scared easily, but this stuff scares the shit out of me. To the point where I'm fearful for the Obama family's safety and the safety of Democrats in general.

Everyone stay safe, keep your shields up, and let's send some positive energy to the Obamas, the Clintons, and all our other Democratic leaders.

I was a bit struck by the description of thievery that we can expect.
There will be those who are in fear, and there will be many, many who resort to stealing, whether it is stealing money, whether it is stealing other people’s energy and consciousness, whether it is stealing their property. You’re going to see a lot of this taking place.

I know there are energy vampires, but never considered consciousness thieves.
I'm not sure I want to send any of my energy that way, or even channel it.

There are also reasons to believe that the most rowdy in the crowds are planted operatives.

I mean, COMPLETELY certain. Four times in one week. Four different words or phrases, including :wtf: "Off with his head"? Does that sound like a McCain/Palin follower? I don't think so.

Plus all these different shocking shout-outs just HAPPENED to be uttered close enough to a mic to be picked up. WHAT mic? There are no microphones in the audience at rallies. Maybe for town meetings, but not rallies. Those mics are on the stage, far from the crowd, and pointing at the candidate.

No, this whole thing stinks to high heaven. But I know why they're doing it. These Repukes do want Obama dead, but they're not going to be the ones to pull the trigger. They want some poor, pathetic, deranged redneck to do it--you know, the guy who would go shoot up a school or abortion clinic if that opportunity presented itself first--and then they can just throw up their hands and say, "Hey, it wasn't us! We never condoned that kind of talk! It was a crazed lone gunman! (For real this time, not a bunch of CIA operatives hidden in the bushes and another ex-government guy posing as a crazed lone gunman.)"

We can't allow that. We WON'T allow that. And we aren't allowing it. Obama is surrounded by protective light from us and from our otherworldly friends. We just have to keep that up, far past election day, past inauguration day, and well into President Obama's term--until we're completely certain that the last vestiges of icky dark negative souls have slunk away. And you know, even past that... ;)
