It looks like this is yet another thing that must break before it can be fixed. but geez!
It is breaking fast and I wonder how it will hit us on the ground and how soon???
Will we end up having food riots or will we get by barely scathed?

Trying not to go into fear is huge, but I am worried anout my folks and other loved ones. I have nothing to begin with, so i should just make sure i have food and wood for the fireplace...but should i be thinking about ammo too? how batshit crazy is this about to get?

I'm excited. I find the monetary system disgusting. Read some of the other threads about the upcoming future in this forum. The FED is exactly the tool that the Elites have used to control us. How can it be bad to fail? It isn't, imo. They cannot hold onto to their corrupt power without control of money. Like one of the Pirates said (sorry can't look up who right now) .. he said, "Give me control of a country's money, and it doesn't matter who is in office". I say, the sooner the better. We don't put our faith in the US Federal Reserve anyway. Do we?

But there are things I am going to "miss' about the way things are right now.

I have always gone through life really enjoying the little pleasures like a good burger or a trip to the store to buy chotchskys...because I have looked at them as transient, knowing that our lives are going to look incredibly different at some point in our lifetime.
BUT I REALLY wonder about what information we are "receiving" about the upcoming changes. How hard does it really have to be? Can we transition to a sustainable economy and lifestyle without everything going to shit in the meantime?

I don't know how bad things will get. There is much to be discussed, and maybe this thread will serve that purpose.

Think about "sustainable". The opposite, of course, is "un-sustainable". The very defining adjective tells us it cannot last! Whatever it takes to switch to something that CAN be sustained, it going to be well worth it in the long run.

I'm already poverty level, and have been for some time. I have been feeling growing resentment at TPTB lately for the hamster wheel they have the planet running. It doesn't have to be this way. The average hard working American slaves every day under extreme stress due to production quotas and rules and regulations, not to mention working with a-hoes who are ready to stab them in the back at any moment. For what? So the CEO and POLITICIANS can run rowdy and spend money as if it meant NOTHING. Scrimp and budget, try to buy things, a constant and ominous "credit rating" following them from cradle to coffin. We are NOT free agents in this crapola. We are slaves. I am sick to death of it. Some people are going to be leaving us. TPTB are hoping that the reduction in population will give them an opportunity to consolidate power again. Let's pray they do not have the way or method to hijack a New Era.

If it comes to it, I'm looking forward to eating right from the earth. No more shopping!

October 9th : Economic Stress, the Flow of Abundance...and working with Family of Light in Germany : The first week of October has seen major Ecomonic stress on the Planet, as the Global Banking system begins its process of chamge and transformation. I have no doubt that there are groups of people who have sought to control the wealth of the Planet, and that in the Old Earth energy they did achieve a measure of success. But, in this new Fifth Dimensional energy, there are enough awakened and active Human Angels and Lightworkers able to hold the energies on the Higher Dimensional levels and ensure that the old patterns of fear and domination are not allowed to enter into the New Earth grids and to control people in the old ways. So, it is important that we, as awakened beings, hold our energy in Peace and do not fall into patterns of fear and panic and despair.

It is indeed an exciting time to be alive and to participate in the co-creation of a New Reality.

Working in the financial services field, I see a LOT of fear going around. Just today, we had a nice little older lady come in, statement in hand, wanting to sell everything now. I give lots of credit to the great people I work with who sat with her, explained what was going on, willing to honor her wishes but guiding her not to do anything right now. They talked with her for over an hour, allaying her fears. It *IS* scary but I try hard NOT to go into the fear and know that we are where we are (individually and collectively) so that we can assist Mother Earth with her consciousness raising work.

Trust that all will be as it should and we will be provided for in the way that suits our highest good. (Sounds like so much
new age blather but it's really how I feel, deep down.)

I CONSTANTLY call him Michael, even though I know his name is Matthew--I've done it for years. I wonder why that is! Do you think he might be working with the energy of Archangel Michael?

Anyway, yes, this is "it"--a phase of the Shift that we've been hearing about for so long. When this whole thing started in earnest a few years ago, and my former elder kept saying "We have to get ready before the Shift starts", I always countered with "We're already LIVING it. And we're fine." (This point was one of the major disagreements she and I had--she always thought we had to do special meditations and all this extra stuff to "get ready", treating it like a pagan version of the rapture, while I was getting the message that we were on the right track and to just stay loose and be open to messages from the Universe.)

Seems like the buildup is always so much scarier than the reality--kind of like in a horror movie, when the chick creeping toward the basement door while the music builds is really the scary part, not what comes after. Well guess what? We just yanked open the basement door--"EEEEK!" Here's the jolt.

And we're still here. And we'll just ride the waves and do what we have to do till things settle down. Will it be easy? Hell no. But we'll survive just fine. :hi:

ya, I am still here..and in my reality, I am more concerned with getting over this damnned HEADCOLD than what is happening to my inheritance (my paretns are not diversified, and they are probably going to take a considerable hit)besides, my mom is still shopping for kids winter clothes to give to us, etc, so it can't be all bad! (though I wish I could go shopping for fun once in a while!)

meanwhile, there is food in my pantry, and tea in my cup..and the beauty outside my window is still breathtaking as fall turns to winter.

AND - I FINALLY sent off that awful writing assignment !!! and told him I AM DONE, no more revisions, no more trying to figure oit out. just pay me for the pages I did do and get over it! (and right after that the newspapaer called and offered me feature story or two and tht is so much more fUn and up my alley)
...so the universe is taking care of itself, and me &the kids - as long as I show up and keep up the good work of not falling into fear!

Mr. MG called this afternoon: "I made an appointment for new tires and brakes." Ugh. Had to be done, but...$$$. Sure enough, "It should be about $1,000." (He has a Saab.) I practically fainted. (And nearly cried--once again, there goes my bathroom. Three years, no tile in the tub area--we pulled out a skanky tub insert when we moved in, and for the past three years I've been swapping out $3 plastic shower curtains and stapling them to the plywood walls.)

One hour later, the mail came. My freelance payment. His freelance payment. An anniversary gift from my aunt. And--complete surprise--our STAR rebate. Total single-day blessing from the Universe: $1,084.

I really must just shut up and let the Universe work. :D

And guess what--I decided to hang with the real estate freelance gig for a little while longer. They don't need me for a couple of months, so I'll worry about it then. In the meantime, I'll pull in some small weekly payments doing little admin-type things on their site.

Some of the posts here I find a little scary, maybe even vengeful. I think it's important we take the high road, stay open, focus on the light, don't panic, don't monger fear, and don't seek revenge. It all feels a little bit to me like we're teetering on the edge of the French Revoltion, only globally.

I have a child to think of. I want him to know the shared abundance of the planet when he's grown. But shared abundance is the key phrase there. I believe that includes the occasional burger or tchotchky. It's pretty hard to eat straight from the earth in Michigan in February.

I'm not seeking revenge. It sure is tempting sometimes in RL. There is no such thing as true revenge, anyway. I hurts everyone, not just the "target".

But on the national/global scene, as in RL, I prefer a handy little doormat.

I like a little decadence here and there, I think that is part of that shared abundance. If we can't all get spoiled a bit from time to time, than life is just a drudgery...and everyoine deserves a little bubblebath and self love here & there...(mmmm chocolate!)
it is the crazy decadence that these rich crazy people who are SO disconnected from spirit practice that makes many upset, myself included. I know I hate watching those "Fabulous Life" shows, because I think of all the children they could feed or homes they could build for that money...

Right now, he outer world is fluxuating and shifting, what is our inner world doing?
My home is still safe & warm
My pantry is still full
My kids are safe and love to cuddle
My kitty is purring and fed
I have a soft bed and love around me
My friends are still there for me
Life is really good,
.....and the other stuff is all an illusion.

Another thing my best frined brought up to me last might - she lives in Hawaii, and they have a very limited resource pool.
Because they have to have SO much of their "stuff" shipped in, they learn to do with what they have.
They don't thow things out as quickly because it is too cost inefficent or resource greedy to just "get a new one"
I live like that too ... Partially because I am in a remote mountain town, partially because it isn't as important here for us to have "new" stuff. My snowboots are 4 seasons old, and they still keep my feet dry.

I am not very "well off" so alot of my frugality is due to what I percieved as "lack" for many years.
NOW I am choosing to see it as a conscious choice to NOT use as many resources and discard what may still serve a purpose.

My parents, as depression kids, learned to use things until they wore out
- and even then they recycled them into things that COULD be used. Mom wore flour sack dreses to school, etc...

Sustainability is merely a state of mind, isn't it?
