Pluto in Capricorn: As it relates to the election and financial crisis
This is a long article, but worth every minute. Quite scary. Written by a Market Analyst Astrologer.

It is my belief that everything we are experiencing today is part of an unfolding celestial process that will peak around August 1, 2010.

It is at that time that one of the most outstanding celestial configurations of our lifetime will occur: Saturn and Uranus will be completing the last of their five opposition passages. They will be in 0 degrees of Aries and Libra, the points of the spring and autumnal equinoxes. At the same time, Mars will have just entered Libra and Jupiter Aries, to join Saturn and Uranus respectively. Also, all four of these planets are in a major T-Square to Pluto in Capricorn.

We haven’t seen anything quite like this since the early 1930-31. That is, we haven’t seen Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto in a T-square since then, and never at the very beginning degrees of cardinal signs, which are arguably the most critical points of the zodiac, for they define when our seasons begin on the basis of the Earth’s orbit around the Sun.

So let us assume that the period of time within 18 months of August 1, 2010 is an important “shift” in the direction of Humankind, as indicated by the principles of astrology.

1. Wow, that was a really good read, and so comprehensive!
I like to think of the US (under progressed Mars retro in Libra and progressed Sun in Pisces) as
developing into a peacemaker/negotiator. That ought to be a real trick given the build up of new and larger armies/weapons around the world. Maybe Kucinich will get his Dept. of Peace! Certainly an image to hold in our hearts.

Thanks for posting this!

2. Extremely interesting.
Just a couple of interesting points in the article:

"Fourth, Pluto will be in opposition to the USA Venus and Jupiter, 2008-2010 for the first time ever. Venus rules the currency of a country, and with Pluto, its banks and institutions where values are stored."

and, " Fifth, Pluto conjuncts the Sun in the Federal Reserve Board chart, and opposes it Pluto, in 2008-2009, for the first time ever. In this case, Pluto represents a major transformation of the institution, and perhaps its demise."

And it appears to have been written last October.

3. Venus also rules relationships and that goes double if Venus resides in the 7th house

as it does for the US. So we may find ourselves ending a long term relationship, or breaking off some financial arrangement with a long time partner. Leaving one relationship for another. Or being in conflict with potentially a lot of power games on both sides; withholding of resources, manipulating with bribes or one's sense of loyalty/obligation, strings attached, arguing over ownership, uncovering corruption, betrayal by or toward an ally.
Essentially, how do we share power with others?

Venus is also values in general, which I expect will be going through a transition.

4. Thank you.
I know only a little tiny bit about astrology, and I always appreciate what I learn here.

I think it was Journal of Astrology http://www.journalofastrology.com/article.php?article_id=183

I don't understand Indian Astrology at all.
