Pick, gee, I don't know, basically any entry from this blog during the past two years, (though you might want to skip the archived posts from September through November '06 if you don't want to wind up crying all night) and you'll see why.

Last I had read this site, she'd moved out to the Northwest. I thought things would be better for her and her family once she was in my neck of the woods. I was shocked and disappointed to find out last night that things have actually gotten worse for her. That's...terrible. I mean, why can't she get a break? (And, all due respect, if any of you answer "heavy karma," I'm going to hit alert.) It's not like she's not trying to heal herself from, frankly, unhealable loss, while still leading a functional and productive life.

So, anyway, whatever vibes you can spare. In spades. Thanks.

34. Joe update: he's better; post-hospital. Still pretty drugged up, but they fixed whatever was

wrong. Thanks to all who sent light, especially for the hospital stay. He was evidently treated well, especially regarding pain management (I was worried they wouldn't medicate him properly).

28. Please keep sending to my Grandparents

My stepGrandad is still in a rehab facility trying to strengthen him enough to come home and it is not looking good. A male nurse has to basically hold him up even when he uses a walker to go to the restroom. Under medicare he can get 100 days of rehab but no nursing home coverage. He has been a bit over a month in cardiac rehab. After that they take his social security and my Grandmother can't get by on her social alone. She is one of those people born in a bad year. A few times the gov. overpaid people's social security but instead of taking it out a bit at a time out of future payments they simply reduced the amount people in another year get so in spite of working 2 and even 3 jobs most of her life my 90 yr old Grandmother gets just a bit less than half what her husband does. She worked hard and saved hard but she was the family bank that few ever repaid and for some funny reason none of those she bailed out of their messes over the years are springing forward to repay her :nuke: My Mom and I try to help but right now our budget tight as well and winter hasn't started yet either.

My Grandmother is not good at accepting help and while curious about stuff like we talk and work with here she never wants to do it herself. That means if any manifesting is going to happen it is up to me. I keep trying to get my Mom involved to cut down on the intimindated feeling I get when doing this stuff but s does not really get it and would prefer me to do it. I don't blame her as I admit I think my efforts to get her to take part in this is a way to avoid feeling solely responsible. I am trying to let go and trust but it is hard even knowing that even in difficult times I have always had what I needed most. It is hard not to get caught up in the finanical hullabaloo right now even tho my Mom's retirement has dropped quite a bit because of the mess the rich dirty rotten scoundrals have made. argh. enough meeping and wining.

Please send to my Mom as her cholesterol is sky high after coming off a med that was damaging her liver. Her C-reactive protein is way up still and she is wating to find out what her vitamin D is as according to what I have read specalists now find that high CRP and low vitamin D are better indicators for heart attack risk than high cholesterol. She picked up a new med today and I am worried what this one will do to her as the last two have raised the CRP, the 2nd hurt her liver and the 1st made her legs and feet swell up like balloons even 6 months after she stopped the crap before they went back to normal.

Her name is Emily. She's 11 years old. Something is up with this child lately--she's been vandalizing our house and yard because we don't want her and her friends playing on our property and have told her as much. Could be puberty, could be something more dire going on in her life and she's projecting her anger onto the wrong party (us)--I don't know. I'm planning on talking to her father as soon as I can, but in the meantime she needs to cool down (before Mr. MG calls the police--he's far angrier than I am about all this).

It's really tough when our neighbors act less than neighborly. I hope that this child is able to find balance and realize that what she's doing is not appropriate so that you can at least have cordial relations with her and her family. (We don't need to be friends with our neighbors, but it's sure nice to not feel animosity from them.)

I will send energy and light her way, and I ask that she be helped to use it for her highest good.

She really is acting very strangely lately--suddenly quite "bad seed"-like. I would like to resolve this as quickly and as painlessly as possible. What I worry about the most is if this is the way she deals with conflict in her life (acting out in a violent manner), she's going to have a rap sheet before she's 15. I know Mr. MG is the one who would like to get the ball rolling on that (!) so the more I can do to defuse the situation, the better for all involved, but I sure do need the universe's help for this one...

The little girl's been keeping up her assault on our property, and her younger brother is learning from her--threw stuff at the house last night even with his dad and grandfather outside with him (although they didn't see him do it). Mr. MG saw him, though, and went nextdoor, screaming. Major blowup, threats to call the police (ironically, the neighbor said he was going to call the cops on Mr. MG), etc. Eventually everybody calmed down, but the situation was not resolved by a long shot. I don't like the way this is going. :(

So sad that I didn't even realize I posted in the September thread instead of the October one! Yikes! Anyway, thanks for the energy. Mr. MG and I discussed it a bit more tonight and he actually admitted that he just wants to coexist with these people, not...beat them, vanquish them, or move (run away from them). He also told me that he's sorry he made the little boy who confessed to throwing things cry (his throwing things started the whole blowup). So it's getting better already--must be your good vibes! :D
