1. This is so amazing! It cracks me up...

when the skeptics here at DU say that a group of people did something this large with this amount of precision in one night in the dark without anyone seeing them. :D

9. i've always wanted to ask, "if we really know who did this, can't we ask them why those shapes?"

you'd think the people who claim they did them would come up with wonderful back story as to the meaning of the various designs. some are so elaborate they definitely do not scream "random trampling in the night with a board! tee hee! farmer bob's gonna be pissed! haw haw haw!" as an artistic work you'd think some sort of meaning or even artistic influence would leak into 'their creations.' i just want to know what those meanings or even mental musings were. for some reason i don't think we'll get a truly satisfactory answer from claimants.

2. Interesting how it looks like an "8"

especially since we just had 08/08/08. I wonder if it cropped up (sorry for the pun) on the 8th?

I just read the linked article. Wow! It was done on the 8th and apparently the figure refers to the upcoming lunar eclipse on the 16th. Astounding.

3. I heard

that a farmer plowed over a crop circle that was put on one of his fields. The farmer did not want the crowds, publicity, etc.

The crop circle reappeared the very next day.

Heard that on a radio interview a few days ago.

5. I'm starting to wonder

whether the pending Sun movement through the galactic center has drawn them here? Or in more abundance than before? Do we know what happens after the Sun goes through?

Is our impending demise as a species on this planet.

From all I've read, they have been warning us for quite some time about both planetary devastation and nuclear war.

Sightings are up in both Australia and the UK. Reports have come out in the past week with statistics. Maybe in the U.S., too--don't remember if they have released a report on that.

8. I don't remember where I read it

but somewhere out there on the intertubes :D, or maybe in a crop circle book, I recall reading that they're creating crop circles to help trigger our genetic coding so we remember who/what we are in order to facilitate our shift and ascent.

But I don't doubt that they're chewing their fingernails (or whatever they've got that's equivalent) as they watch us get closer and closer to the moment of truth. Which path will we chose? Tune in next week to find out! (We're more like the Truman Show than we think...!)

4. Is this the second or the third crop circle pointing out the upcoming

eclipse? Seems its an important one...I'd love to hear more about what astrologers are saying about this.

7. Here's a long, but very interesting video

It's 4 hours long, but about halfway through, he goes over a lot of crop circles and their meanings. It's wonderful. There's also a lot of very confusing terminology.
