I am soooo bummed out right now: Why is the Cosmos playing with my emotions?.?.?

For some reason I went to Craigslist and started looking through their freebies. When I came across this entry.

Free Lava Lamps and there were over 20 of them.

This was around Tuesday at 12:30 am. I immediately emailed him at around 2:30 since I collect Lava Lamps. Then noticed me mentioned that the best way to contact him was at a phone number. Since it was 2:30 in the morning I decided to wait until later in the day.

I called the number yesterday he provided, it was where he worked Dominos Pizza, they told me he wouldn't be in until today. I called and asked if they would give him my number. I called back later that night and asked if they would give him my number and what time he would be in today. I emailed him 3 times and called about that many times as well.

I REALLY WANTED THOSE LAVA LAMPS!

I called back today and was told he wouldn't be in today after all. I checked back with Craigslist and the ad has been taken down.

For some reason the Cosmos must be toying with me and my heightened sense of emotions.

I try and use the "it just wasn't meant to be" routine, but damn it I wanted those Lava Lamps.

I have a feeling whoever ended up with them will piece meal them out for $$$$.

I guess I'll just have to live with disappointment, instead of a little joy and pleasure the Lava Lamps would have provided me.:cry:


On a side note: I had taken a nap and dreamt about some guy living in Germany who was selling some musical equipment. My hubby talked to him first and was told the equipment had been sold. I also got to talk to him and he told me there would probably be some more equipment he would be selling as he was downsizing because he was moving into a submarine.

Ahhh well, "IT just wasn't meant to be!"

Sometimes when things like this happen to me
I wonder if it's because there's something else I should be working on.
Every crush I've developed since The Break-up has proven improbable or unobtainable,
and perhaps that's because I've got personal work yet to do.
Some months ago I had a feeling that I'd be alone and/or celibate until I quit smoking.
I still smoke, but it's grip is weakening.
I think I'll invest in some props so I can do more yoga at home.
