And also a story about the action taken last year to restore balance. You have to scroll down a bit to get to the parts that are specifically about Yellowstone, but it all relates.
http://www.chiron-communications.com/communique%209-2.htmlAs it happens, I am going out to Turqouise Mountain this weekend to be in ceremony with the elders, and with people of all other traditions as well. We will have a fire with stories and Circle dances on Saturday night after sharing a potluck feast, and then we will wake up to the drum at 4 AM to start the Sodizin Ceremony -- which will go from 4 am -- when the Sprit Currents are strong -- until High Noon.
The Circle dances are so simple and dignified, everyone comes together -- One Heart, One Mind, One Song, One Dance Step. Together, old and young, friends, enemies, lovers, whatever. Everyone has a place of respect in the circle.
It is always so beautiful there -- with such a vast view of the sky and the earth. We will remember Yellowstone again, and all our relations.
