What does creepy mythological imagery have to do with Obama's Veep choice?

Okay, so this is the huge logo of Perseus LLC.

If you want to know what this has to do with Obama's Veep Choice, look at the bios. Jim Johnson (one of the three people on Obama's committee) is the Vice President of this hedge fund. Note that the president, Frank Pearl, has on his bio "American Friends of Bilderberg." Before we freak too much, keep in mind that Jim Johnson has helped select many Democratic Vice Presidents. However, that may not be a good thing.

Sorry, but how would you guys like working for a hedge fund with Perseus holding the head of Medusa? What do you guys know about Jim Johnson? I am putting this here instead of another folder because maybe you guys would have a better understanding of the symbolism of this image.

2. I know nothing about them

so I checked out the site of the fund.
A few days ago, I saw your post and it immediately reminded me me of my mother persistently talk about Medusa at the nursing home. She was still quite bizarre at the time...she also does not like Obama, she thinks he is dangerous - but mind you, this is someone who always goes into the negative territory about most everything.

Anyway, considering the Bilderberg, the funds they run are relatively small 2B. But they seem to be very much involved in the Kennedy's and the Rockefeller's, Soros as well as education. It is therefore, in a sense, odd they do not handle a larger amount of the ultra wealthy. It seems they are certainly connected to the so called global elite. Somehow I feel - the Fund, or money making is not their main interest.

I have not found the reason of the founder's fascination with Perseus and Medusa, even though there is a different artwork of this subject on every page. Perhaps they consider themselves monster slayers...

3. Couldn't help but notice ...

,,,the statue is Perseus as Mercury or appears to be with the wings and all ~ the Messenger and War God. And Medusa had the hair of poisonous snakes that turned anyone to stone if they gazed upon her. The trick was that Perseus, if I remember right, used a mirror or the shiny part of his shield in order to look at Medusa. Therefore he was not turned to stone and was then able to get near enough to her to slay her by cutting off her head.

I am not sure what it all means symbolically for the investor, but in trying to think of my own symbolism and archetypes, here are a few thoughts:

Mercury ~ the Messenger, not only of things past that have already happened but a harbinger of things to come. Isn't Mercury also a war god? Was the son of Zeus and Danae (Diana?). If it was Diana, Perseus' mother was the goddess of light. Ready to do battle ...

Medusa: Someone who was thought impossible to slay, terrifying yet fascinating somewhat like a moth drawn to a flame. She turned people to stone, which to me did not seem to be a death exactly but a freezing of the moment. In the back of my mind the "terror" of being turned to stone did this mean that, once frozen that way, did that then mean instant death or a conscienceness not unlike that of trees ~ immobile and rooted to one place, yet aware.

This imagery just creeped me out. Really odd people are attracted to power, and we just need to be aware.

By the way the imagery used for a website like that, is probably the decision of the one guy who was tasked with managing the project.

Perseus (Son of Zeus, granted immortality) had an eternal rivalry with Medusa, using the magical ugliness of her severed head as a weapon and hunting her down whenever she took earthly form.
