Enlightenment can occur in both polarities. How to discern the positive from the negative, especially at a critical moment?

Snakes, even as symbols, aren't my first choice for comfort.

Interesting thing about snake symbolism. Its seems to be apparent that some ancients knew about DNA (maybe not exactly the same way as we do) and used snake symbolism to represent DNA. For example: the two snakes wrapped in a helical coil around the staff with wings on top which is the medical symbol called a Caducious. The two snakes represent both the positive and negative energies and the staff & wings representing the spinal column and crown chakra.

Another example is: The snake wrapped around the tree of life and soliciting Eve to eat the fruit from the tree. In some old art work there's actually two snakes in this scene and the tree is a symbolic mushroom tree with the fruit being of course psychedelic mushrooms. This is interesting symbolism in that the snake actually represents a duel role. It both represents our DNA (the part of our DNA which was manipulated) and earlier enlightened people trying to free us from the servitude of false gods.
