Anyone else feeling disconnected from themselves?

I've been feeling that way for over a week now, like I'm not at home with myself. Sometimes it doesn't bother me much, but other times, like now, it really does. While I am normally connected with my spiritual self, while also having my feet planted firmly on the ground, right now, I am struggling with both.

It's as if I'm somehow disembodied or something. I think it's because I'm on my way out of the life I currently live, and have not yet arrived at the life I am moving toward. See, I told my husband I wanted a divorce. He does not want one, but I do. Won't go into the reasons here, though a couple of you know why.

If anyone has any suggestions for how to get through this period of time, ideas about how I can help myself feel my feet on the ground a bit more than I do now, I'd appreciate them very much. Of course, I also know that may be this is just a necessary part of the transition, and I may just need to ride it out.

1. YES!!

I've been puttering along, doing very well assimilating my new realizations into my life and manifesting/vibrating positively; and all of a sudden a few days ago; I went to look for my certainty and it wasn't there.
I've been needlessly obsessing over money when I know very well I shouldn't do that if I want to have any.
Not sure exactly why this is happening; but I am going to put as much positive in my space as I can. Going to go listen to a couple of recordings to refresh and hopefully bring me back to center.

Must be some energy stuff going on...

4. I'm having a hard time harnessing my mind, it seems.

Like you, I've been obsessing over money, even though I know that's not what I should be doing. And I can't seem to focus long enough to do affirmations, meditations, visualizations, etc. I feel like a helium baloon, drifting aimlessly about.

Hopefully, this too shall pass, and SOON.

Congratulations on taking the next step in manifesting the life that you want. I'm sure that this is a tough situation for your husband, so I will keep him in my thoughts in the hope that he will be able to find peace and ultimately realize that the action that you're taking is what's best long-term for both of you.

Wow, you told him, huh? Good for you, gf! That took a LOT of courage and strength. :thumbsup:

For me, what keeps me grounded are the basics: getting regular exercise, eating well, getting enough sleep, stuff like that.

I also really strive to keep a positive perspective, which can be particularly challenging when difficult circumstances present themselves.

It's in those difficult times that we have to remember these wise words:

THIS, TOO, SHALL PASS......it's all part of the ebb and flow of our lives. You WILL feel connected, once again. Have faith.

I have been reminding myself of that (this too shall pass) over the past couple of days, and it does help. Otherwise, I would end up feeling hopeless, and I don't want to get in that frame of mind.
