Are you that child?

I have a different take on religion and Christianity in particular.

I believe that Jesus was real and that during his baptism he then became Christed, he took his initiation into ascension.

I believe that he and the Buddha (and others)came to wake us out of our slumber and remind us that each of us is to be like them. They understood the God-force and the ability of spirit in human form to be much more than merely mortal.

As I listened to this song I realized that each of us has the power to make a difference. It may be on a small scale or it may be huge and it's up to us to move forward on whatever path we've chosen and become the child in this song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZ26Ao8Ffhs&mode=related&search=

This new year may we all become who we are and reach into the unknown depths of ourselves. May we make a difference as we go through this year and may we do it with courage and love.

(I love Johnny Mathis. Just saw him on a PBS special, and despite his age,
he has not lost his talent, voice, or lovely spirit.)

I agree with you about Jesus. And this child is us. (Have you heard Sarah McLachlan's version of What Child is this?) thanks for the link - Johnny M still has the voice.
