Went to LOA Meetup tonight

It was a lot of fun. People were bravely putting their dreams out to the Universe for all to see.

they send you inspirational meassages every day.
The guy at the site was in The Secret, too. I like him, because he's not pushing you to buy a bunch of stuff.
Nice experience! Hopefully I can find some like-minded ppl around here too; I bet that was nice to be in.

Many people have seen 'What the Bleep Do We Know' and/or 'The Secret'. I'm pm'in you the link for meetups in your area. Check under 'Books'.

For anyone else the site is: http://www.meetup.com . The organizer for the Reiki Circle I was attending dropped out, so that went on the shelf. though some of us may keep it going as a yahoo group. Some of the people in that group are also in LOA and/or Abraham Hicks group. Being fairly new to this city, it has been a great way for me to meet new people. Hope you do find some support either with meetups or Intenders, or whatever. It is very encouraging.

A woman tonight said what she really wants to do it work with released felons to help them incorporate back into society. It just so happens I know someone who is very involved in that work. Some of the people are very experienced with creating and others are just getting started. Makes for a good mix. There is always acceptance. No one trying to change anyone else. It's a matter of just agreeing and trusting with them that their goals can be manifest. The woman I was sitting next to encouraged me to get 'Ask and it is Given' by Esther and Jerry Hicks. She also recognized the man on the other side of me. Seems years ago they both attended a Native American ceremony. That was like a homecoming for them. You never know who you might meet.

I'll agree with you and trust that you will find others who share your desire to expand spiritually. :applause:

... I've never heard of them, but just went to my neighborhood library's website to search on the book you mention, and there are FOUR people in line ahead of me with holds on it!

Holy Moly! I never expected there to be that kind of spiritual audience here in Indy ... most people are such ... Bible Thumping Sheep ... in public.

4. I was guided

to get the book about two months ago....I ended up getting that one and I think because of that, was unable to participate in the group read we had here, but I think that book is gonna be invaluable to me.(besides, a very lovely soul here sent me the book we read, bless their heart!) I was resistant to look at it for awhile, but now am delving in. LOADS of info, and I've already had several discoveries .

hippiechick! I'm enjoying it. The second half contains 22 'processes'. They are exercises to improve our ability to put the concepts into practice. I love it!

One of the men at the group asked us to agree on him receiving $6 million dollars. He wasn't shy. I was going to ask for $1,500 within the next week! But I held back. I also have a job interview this afternoon which I really would like to work out, if it is for the highest and best for all concerned. I did email the group leader to agree with me, and he said, "Agreed. Enjoy your new job". I may start a new thread asking for ya'll's support.

One man also told the story about how he got a $1 million offer for one of his screen plays. He sold one last year. But, he was involved with a woman who didn't believe in him. They broke up, for various reasons, I guess, and six days later, he got the offer! He had to get her negative energy out of his life before his dream could manifest. I know that after I finally got rid of doofus, I started making all kinds of positive friends. His are so negative and angry. No wonder I was miserable.
