The Power of Predictions.

What you think, what you believe, what you desire, and what you envision/imagine have power.

Because the power of belief is so influential, scientists routinely conduct double-blind studies, to remove the influence of participants’ beliefs from the results.

Belief that a medication will be effective also influences the outcome. Placebos have been shown to be effective in approximately 30% of cases. Patients’ beliefs (and desires) are very influential.

Predictions are powerful things. They require imagination, visualization and belief. When the prediction is for a negative outcome, fear is added. The more intense the fear, the greater its power.

I keep seeing threads on DU that predict negative events.
Those predictions have power.
Predicting a negative future is essentially programming to have it occur.

I’m not suggesting that people ignore the news and bury their heads.
But I am suggesting that it would be very beneficial to imagine and focus on some positive influence which could intervene and help ameliorate any negative outcome. Imagine people waking up. Imagine consciences being stirred. Imagine minds being changed.

Focusing on what we *don’t* want is a form of programming to have that occur.
We can acknowledge our fears, address them, and ask for help to lift them.

Focusing instead on what we *do* want is also programming.

Imagine. Desire. Choose. Believe. Ask for help.

2. I tried to watch the video trailer, but I have dial up and it didn't seem

to be loading correctly. I'll try again in a while.

I hadn't heard about the 17th being a significant date before. That's interesting.

Our thoughts are so powerful. I cringe when I read all of the negative predictions in GD.

3. The Secret link may no longer work. There were many reports that...

people were having problems viewing the trailer. I watched it on-line before I actually bought the video. I think that I paid $4.95, which could be applied to the cost of the video if you purchased it through the website. I've sent my copy to several friends to watch.
