Okay. Help again; sorry..I meditated and things got WORSE.

I wanted to update everyone. As of this past weekend things seemed to be heading to an upswing-(thank you all for the love and light!)-hubby's manager promoted him to manager and said he was going to start training him for GM; which equals a pay raise. Also; the manager in the other city who fired my husband from the very good-paying job was fired himself; so we are playing the waiting game to see if they will re-hire my hubby. The biggest thing was that the restaurant venture where I am a silent partner has finally opened as of Wed. night (after a year of waiting!); and once that gets to turning a profit I should start seeing enough money to pay my monthly bills without having to do anything! We estimate that I should start seeing some money from that in about a month and a half; maybe two.
HOWEVER; I was inspired by this forum to remember my Silva Method teachings; and downloaded the mediations for that and Shakti Gawain's guides to my mp3 player. I also was reading about manifestation here and elsewhere; and figured that was the most active way to try and improve my situation as well as seeking help on the phisical plane. I have done about 5 meditations about the car situation improving. (for reference; my hubby had a 75 mph accident in our family car 2 1/2 months ago; I did not have collision insurance so it sits in our driveway wrecked). We have another car; a two seater.
Well; last night coming home from work; hubby wrecked that car too.

I don't have a dime to fix either of these cars; and we are barely getting by as it is.
Would someone explain why meditation and manifestation seems to be working AGAINST me? I swear I am going into this with no negative energy-I am good at being able to release that.
It has also struck me that in the last 10 or more years; whenever I have attempted to go back to the meditations or the teqniques; things have started going wrong. When I just completely don't do ANYTHING; 3/4 of the times things do work out---after quite awhile. I don't understand--is the message that I need to NOT actively try to manifest anything? I find that kinda strange. Or is this a "purge" time?
Any ideas or insight would be greatly appreciated again. I am sorry to keep bothering all of you; but I just feel the need to be communicating with people on a more spiritually active plane; I don't think I am here and becoming more active by accident. I have ultimate faith that the Universe is providing what I need at the right time; but I also need to be open to recieve it; and I don't like stressing unecessarily.

I am so exited for you with your restaurant. :)

I have so much chatter in my head - meditation is very difficult for me, you know.

Is it possible that your hubby is stressed out and tired? Would he participate in something spiritual with you?
While I know it must be difficult with all the worries, maybe some form of relaxation may be needed.

I tried to get into this....he is open to the idea but is not really dedicated. To be honest; I don't think this is going to be the solution to depend on.
I wonder if I should continue to ask for help to fix the cars for myself; but I'm a bit scared to. Not sure how to separate his "destiny" from mine on that plane.
I'm going to try the cards again.....

On edit: see; you are right about it not happening to me; per se; but it certainly affects me; so I don't see how it's much of a difference in the end. Now I have no way to even get to the grocery store up the road to get food for me and my child without calling a friend or a cab. It would be different if this were just affecting his ability to take care of himself. I have even thought about having the relationship take a hiatus; but that does not solve the immediate problem of getting the car fixed; because I cannot go to work. (per the other thread of working at home; nothing has come to fruition so far; but I am still working on it!)
I am very lost here.

4. If I could chime in here with a non-metaphysical suggestion...

has your hubby been checked out by a doctor recently? I'm not suggesting that a problem with his physical or mental health is necessarily the reason for the accidents, but it could be. Accidents do just happen, believe me I know, but--sometimes they have a little assistance.

Do you want me to put you on my meditation list for Abundance tomorrow night? If you don't want me to, I won't, but if you want to be included, I'll definitely do that.

7. After a couple of

"bad" experiences with manifestation, or asking for specifics, I gave it up. The intention will be accomplished, but the method may not be what we had in mind at all.

I find things work out best when I release all expectations and put my intention on wisdom, acceptance and courage. The answer will come. Whatever it is, I have to be okay with it. I must have the courage to act on the answer I receive.

If you are practicing Silva there is no way to separate your destiny from your husband's, or indeed anyone else's. The answer is sought for the highest good of ALL concerned.

ps. In 1998 I was involved in two accidents two months to the day apart. I thought I must have a jinxed car, which I believe is possible or that I was wearing a big cosmic "hit me" sign. The outcome had some positive components and negative components. That may be the best we can hope for.

9. lildreamer, do you find that you always go back to the spiritual work...

when things are going badly for you? If so, it may just seem as though your work is making things worse since it's always at a bad time that you're starting it.

Additionally, it's possible that things might have been even worse if you hadn't been doing the work. For example, your husband may have been really hurt in this second accident if you hadn't been doing this work. I'm not saying that this is the case, but rather that we don't always see the entire picture but rather what actually happened might be much better than what could have happened otherwise.

Personally, I think as long as you're doing the work with the intent that it's for the greatest good of all involved, any spiritual work can only help.

that's what I think too...that it's for the greater good. This is obviously a lesson for him to learn...but it sure is a doozy!

There's a light at the end of the tunnel; but we just have to get there. I'm trying to have faith.
