My move was a success and I am happy and safe in my new home in Arizona. Thanks to everyone who sent me energy and kept me in their prayers. The job I thought I had at the metaphysical shop has unfortunately been filled, but there are several other opportunities I'm exploring that pay better, so I'm not worried about it.

Thanks so much, this group has really been wonderful to me, even though I am quiet most of the time. :)

I'm doing great. Applied for a couple of jobs today with good liberal-owned stores so hopefully I will see something good come from that.

My housemates' cat had six kittens last night so we are keeping pretty busy. :D

Born and raised in Brooklyn and love it there, unfortunately I can't afford to live on my own and my family was stifling my spiritual growth, to put it tactfully. It's a big change, but I'm enjoying it so far.

9. Wow, what a daring change....

but I also know how very valuable putting some physical distance between family members can be.
I needed the Atlantic Ocean between me and my family during my 20s and early 30s to give me some breathing room. :-)
