2006 Is a "8" Year: Transformation!
What you do with the energy available to you, is in fact, up to you. And this transformation is for each of us, the country and the world. By 2007 we could see a different environment for ourselves and our country. Work it, is what I say. Don't be afraid of "problems" or what may come. Arrange your world the way you want it by using thoughts for good and the power of your intentions and convictions. Happy New Year Everyone! May the power of the universe that rightly belongs to you help you on your way.

1. I read that an "8" year is also about, er, instant-karmic payback.
Essentially, as the shape of the "8" indicates, it's about that age-old idea that what goes around comes around. If you've been working hard, you will be rewarded...appropriately. Whatever you've been working for you will come to you in a way which is...appropriate to the way you attempted to get it. I'm really hoping that this will reward particularly the Progressives on this site--the self-proclaimed ethical ones, anyway--and as for W. Inc., hopefully they'll be "rewarded" by the universe in a similarly fitting sense.

As for me, I'm not sure what this will mean. Transformation, definitely; I just hope I end up in a good place as a result. Of course, even I have to admit that just about any significant change would be beneficial. I'll admit, there are some things in my life that need to go. But I can't say where I'm going to go with my new, transformed self yet. I have to get a little bit more information first.

3. I feel like I am holding my breath,
on the edge of something unknown, waiting and trying to trust. :-)

Just breathe....

13. I had that feeling for several weeks before Christmas, but it
seems to have eased somewhat. That tight feeling in my chest like I was struggling for breath. At times I had to really concentrate on taking deep breaths and getting that rhythm going again.

5. Just Put It Out There
Your desire for change for the better and try not to determine how it should come, put it out there and then let go of expectations. And don't flinch or panic when it starts to happen. Don't get afraid that it may not be what you want. Put it out there with trust and just let it happen. As for the what goes around, let it rip. These last five years have been a nightmare for all of us. IT'S THEIR TURN NOW.

19. I know what you mean
I've been working years to get somewhere with my singing/songwriting so hopefully this year will be the year. There is something different about this year for me. More positive and uplifting and I also think this year will be the year of justice for our country. I felt that since earlier this month. I still feel that way which is quite stunning to me quite frankly. In the past I would get message(s) about what will happen in the year and than it'll fade away but not this year. It's more positive and encouraging from my guides and my higher self.

Last year was sucky for me on a personal level. It was a "one". Those are difficult. I was born in a one year. I'm all for moving on. And do believe it will be great, and yes agree with above poster, don't hold back. Let it rip. The time has come. Enigma just said so too.

6. Many Thanks
And I know what you mean about holding your breath. Every scandal in the last five years has had me doing that wondering if that will be the one that tips them into hell (lol).

8. Heh. And on New Year's Eve, I get a letter from the IRS ...
... auditing my tax returns from 2002, 03 and 04 ... wanting me to PROVE that I'm the parent of the child (HippieKid) who I've been claiming.

:wtf:

Let the paperchase begin .... Sigh.

I'm trying to believe that it was the closing salvo of a shitty 2005, rather than the opening bell of a shitty 2006. :scared:

I know I've had a branch of the government (sort of) treat me unfairly because I post here. Long story that I might share sometime, but not now. And I haven't seen dime one of my federal '04 tax refund, something I'm attributing to that whole "being a registered Democrat" thing.

14. I think it was HippieKid's dad ...
He's an arrogant asshole obsessed with 'winning' and won't rest until I'm living in a cardboard box under a bridge.

Much to his chagrin, he will NEVER break me.

26. I read something about this the other day
It seems there is a lot of fraud on claiming of kids (earned income tax credit?) and the IRS is doing blanket audits of those returns. Isn't it sweet of them? No rich people or corporations cheating on their returns, so stick it to the little people once again.

They gave me a letter of no change. The auditor, a very nice woman btw, did say they are amping up audits.

15. Wise words.
The vibration of 8 is also about manifesting on the physical plane. Every one of us has vast Creative Power and our "job" is to awaken to it.

Blessed be and Happy New Year!

23. Ask your higher consciousness to help.
Just before you go to sleep, after you've gotten nicely relaxed, ask yourself to lead you to discover your creative ability. It's all there, right inside of you, waiting to be discovered. There are many other ways, and everyone does it differently. It helped me to start reading books by people like Doreen Virtue, Matthew's books, Kryon material and from the Crimson Circle website. Also, if you can express yourself creatively in 3-D by writing, playing music, singing, painting, weaving, basket-making, whatever strikes your fancy, it can help you learn how to express this energy on a higher level.

I don't know if I explained that very well, but maybe I shed a little glimmer of light on the subject.

24. Hi jap,
I just read the 2006 predictions in the Sedona Journal of Emergence magazine - you mentioned Kryon and he had something really cool in there. All of our past lives - the talents we had - can be tapped into in this life! Now, I'll use your suggestion and see what comes through. :) Thanks!

18. I think this is why
I feel so positive about this year not only nationally but with my personal life too. I'm usually not quite so upbeat about everything for this long but I am hopeful. :) I'm glad to hear someone else say it too.

with my father's health, I feel like everything is going to be alright for my family, our country, and our mother earth. It's a peaceful, hopeful feeling.
