What is your feeling about what might happen this Fri. the 28th?
This is based on Carl Calleman's End of The Ninth Wave prediction. Or time as we know it...

1. Just another day at the office/work.

2. Intense energy will flood the planet and our bodies.

3. The ancient aliens that experimented with us many years ago, will come back with some good news that will save us from the tyranny of TPTB, and we will be the happy joyful souls we were meant to be.

4. A combo of 2 and 3.

5. Something beyond our wildest dreams...meaning fantastic!

6. Pole shift with minor destruction.

7. Pole shift with major destruction.

8. Massive earthquakes.

9. Just Blissful Enlightenment.

10. More than just blissful, radiant enlightenment, because we will have full use of our brains-all of it, FINALLY! Because we will have ascended to our highest level!!!

11. The worst scenario.

12. You will be bending over to kiss your ass goodbye.

13. Nothing, you plan to sleep all day.

Now I wished I had made this into a Poll! Enjoy!

1. I vote for #13, but....
Edited on Tue Oct-25-11 06:51 PM by woodsprite
hubby is gonna have me helping him finish our Halloween Fun House maze, so I'm only gonna get to WISH I was sleeping all day. I need the rest. This week has been horrible, from a kidney stone (9 hrs in the ER Sunday night) to double ear infections now, I just need to concentrate on getting over this physical stuff. :(

2. Friday will probably be a cat transport day. I should be taking
3 siamese cats to their rescue group. Usually I work on Friday, but since I worked all last week, I took the day off. Other than that, I hope it's #9 for everyone.

4. Just talking about this recently
Edited on Tue Oct-25-11 09:19 PM by Proud_Lefty
We are definitely shifting our consciousness, with peaks expected on 10/28/11 and 11/11/11. Doesn't that mean we will be shifting within? Whatever happens, I'm anxious to see how it will play out, hoping everyone is safe and many good things are coming to us. I'm tired of people hitting bottom everywhere you turn. It's time for a real change.

consciousness. I can't wait till 11/11 as well. The thing is, the OWS movement makes me feel incredibly hopeful that we really can begin to create something better.

8. I couldn't agree more
For the past few months, I've been going with my son to meetings with a group of Buddhists. A few weeks ago, they were planning to discuss politics and, of course, I thought I'd fit right in. Boy, I was wrong.

So the head of group started talking about respecting all religions and it shouldn't be involved in politics at all. So far, I was doing fine. Then the discussion went to OWS and how the people involved in the movement didn't know what on earth they were protesting, what they were standing for. I was floored, and said I felt this movement was a part of our spiritual awakening. In fact, I was planning to participate in it myself. Boy, I was knocked down on my optimism. I was told that people AREN'T awakening; things AREN'T going to get better; and we just need to accept it and still be happy. Boy, did I feel like alienated. At that moment, I was completely in the wrong place. My head started spinning, thinking of the laws of attraction; the expected breakdown of our financial system (which is happening), the exposure and expected breakdown of our government (which is happening), and the building anew out of its ruin (which has been prophesied by our ancestors for hundreds of centuries).

If we have the power of visualizing our future, I will visualize peace, harmony, love and compassion. I won't accept things today that are so out of balance as normal and the way it will always be. There's nothing normal about it.

9. Prophecies also say religions
will dissolve. Alot of them might be preaching this to keep the people. But if and when we awake we will not need these old institutions. I am surprised that a Buddhist would speak like that. I hope something changes soon. I welcome it.

12. I do too
I'll make the best of it beforehand, but I am getting more and more fatigued with the current state of corruption and abuses. Change just can't come fast enough as far as I'm concerned.

I don't think this Buddhist spoke for the culture. I think she was speaking more from her own personal experience and challenges. Nonetheless, I was very surprised this philosophy was being presented to the group.

18. Don't let them knock you down...
I met with a Buddhist meetup a couple of times. I didn't know before that that they have factions. One person wouldn't go to the same temple as the others due to her faction. Other than that, the meetings were mostly these two guys trying to one up the other with all their "wisdom", which in the *real world* amounted to a bunch of jargon and theory. BORING . That plus the judgmental-ism I've seen from other Buddhists really turned me off on them. Take the good stuff and don't even think about seeking comfort from these.

38. I'd like to know upon what did this person base their claims.
Especially since it seems to be way outside of Buddhist teachings. Such extreme negativism is antithetical to the middle way. So, unless this person travels the space ways and can see the future (good luck with that) then, they're voicing their personal thoughts and should label them as such.

Sorry you were betrayed by someone you trusted.

46. There are Buddhists and then there are Buddhists.
The Americanized group that my cousin belonged to, didn't strike the right note with me. They chanted for personal gain.SHe tried to get tme to go with her, for years, saying it would change my life. We were nearly neck & neck in that dept. SHe didn't wion the lottery anfd I faltered along with my career downswing due to socio-economic changes.
Credit where credit is due...when she died a few years ago.......it was revealed how many people she had helped quietly.....but then that was part of our family heritage too, ......from the Huguenots ( French Protestants); and the Buddhist ceremoney was very moving.
Shift wenergy.gave me a whompin kick in the a$$. I attended a conference about increasing the viabillity of the Arts......................& found a lot of oblivious clueless people, ( sounds like the Buddhist group) still comfy and self congratulatory. The message I got was the end of Capitalism as it applies in a very small way, where artists can sell paintings to earn a living..........something I did for years. It's going down with the bankers unfortunately. Non-profits and group collaboration seem to be the coming thing.
I am in think tank mode trying to figure out the lessons from this.....................

I was thinking of posting something similar as I'm so curious what everyone "thinks" will happen. I felt incredible energy last week, and this week, nothing. In fact, there's even been some "drama" and I broke one of my own rules, not to engage in it. Oops, too late on that one. Anyway, I HOPE like hell it's #10...but I will probably do at least a bit of #13 unless number #10 happens first of course...lol.

Because I am exhausted and the rest sounds like too much work.
sorry.

Mom in the hospital w/ COPD exacerbation, she is supposed to be d/c'd Fri. I have spent over 16 hours yesterday there, half of it working. Still have the weekend to work 12 hr shifts and tomorrow I have to sit in class and learn stuff all day which normally I would be thrilled about but my brain needs some R&R.

Add to that, my husband was laid off last Friday.

If anything is agog with new energies Fri, I hope it motivates Mom to quit smoking.

Carl Calleman has done some extensive research about the Mayan calendar end date, and it is not 2012, but Oct. 28, 2011. Of course there is a lot to his theory as can be found here:

to be aware of that.

Of course there is always someone out there predicting the end of the world, so I don't personally give any of them any credence.

Even the whole Mayan thing means they reach the equivalent of December 31. It's just a much longer calendar than the one we use. Just like ours, it will roll over to their equivalent of January 1. We'll all still be here.

I don't believe in doom and gloom. It's not the end of the world, even if there was a catastrophe which I don't endorse. But I believe it is the end of the cooking time for all of us as humans. I think we are about to ascend into another more perceptive, intuitive, powerful being, that's all. I think it's awesome to live in these times. Yes, absolutely we'll still be here.

31. before i read the rest of the thread...
I am hoping for a unity and 'quantum-leap' of sorts...

Perhaps our movement will be recognized by the PTB and something huge will shift?
Maybe those of us who have been dancing around turning up our vibration once and for all will find the way across the threshold for good

i personally see it as the 'opening of the door' for 2012.
its a chance for me to step into the person I choose to be in alignment with my soul's purpose and in alignment wioth caring for the planet as she transitions...

I pray I can make that transition easily, as I pray for all of us to have the same

33. First to report what I noticed this 10/28/11
I had a dream early this morning that I was trying to get smudges off my mouth and chin. I was in the bathroom and when I looked in the mirror, I saw that my image was gone. Only my clothes were seen in the mirror. I left my house. As I walked past people, the ones that knew me well saw me without problem. The others couldn't see me at all.

Woke up, looked in the mirror and saw a reflection. Then I realized that the above outcome has been my reality for a while now.

Just had to share.

The first thing I thought of was the movie The Celestine Prophecy. Did you see that?? In the movie as the people raised their vibration, they became invisible to the people who were still stuck in the old 3D mindset. I watched it a few months ago for the second time and it gave me chills just how much life is imitating art more and more, at least in the case of that film.

39. I also had a strange dream this morning
I was seeing a strand of DNA slowly spiraling when I saw a shimmer of light that occasionally lit up a mirror image connected to the original - side by side. It was as if an extra piece of DNA was flashing in and out of existence. I had the impression that I was connecting with another version of myself on a subconscious level - almost like I was establishing a sporadic communication link with another part of me.

44. Wow, that's spot on
I've read many things about the strands of DNA being messed with back in the times of Atlantis. They now know that not all strands of our DNA are connected, so we no longer can communicate telepathically, time travel, and all the other wonders we see on the Sci-Fi channel. Many thinks that the shift is all part of re-connecting these damaged DNA strands (otherwise known as "junk DNA") and bringing us back to our full awareness. Whenever I'd read about this, I'd get so excited. Just imagine what we could become, and what this world would be all about.

And the possibilities are endless!

Thank you, GB!

40. THAT is the Shift in a nutshell
Nobody's going to be physically leaving (except those who chose this time in their lives to "shuffle off this mortal coil") like a New Age version of the Rapture; instead, people of different vibrations just won't "be visible to one another"/won't interact.

Me, I dreamt I was cleaning up cat poo. Ah, the stressors of everyday life creeping into dreams...
