DU marketplace? This stuff is so specific to pagans/wiccans I thought I'd just cut to the chase and post here, but that's probably against the rules...

Has anyone here used the DU Marketplace? What's your experience been?

2. I've not tried the marketplace but am setting up an Etsy shop

for selling my stained glass. I used to sell some on ebay a couple years back and did ok. My stuff is pretty specific, an antahkarana that I designed myself and Reiki people like it.

Have you thought of Etsy?

3. We had an ASAH Marketplace thread for this past holiday season.

Maybe we should check with Skinner to see if we could have a monthly thread here that is handled in a similar manner. (He gave us permission to have one thread over the holiday season.) Would anyone be interested in having me contact Skinner about this?

The format of the thread was to have people post what they offered and if someone was interested or wanted additional information, they were to contact the person via private message rather than respond in the thread. This format was set up to attempt to keep the thread clean and easy to navigate without the products getting lost. I don't know how well that worked; it would be interesting to get feedback on what did and didn't work with that approach if we wanted to ever do it again. (...and were given permission to do it again.)

5. I'm assuming that any sales resulting from the DU Marketplace are handled

privately through PMs? I like the idea of a dedicated thread for stuff of interest to the ASAH crowd.
