A quote (Abraham) which may help those having such a rough time....
If only for a moment. :) Maybe we can refer to this periodically.

So many are in need, so many we know are in need of this or that -- usually fairly critical needs -- and so many are suffering. I'm sorry I haven't posted in the different threads. Please know I send you all hugs of support, and hugs of congrats for the good news.

:grouphug:

As with many of you, I'm in the midst of my own crises, with things coming to a head in one month. I have NO idea how this is going to work out; it feels as though only a true miracle can help resolve things to avoid...well, to avoid much more intense suffering. But that is a "what if," and I'm trying to stay away from those and stay in the here and now.

I've largely let it go and have given it over to The Universe. I'm still plugging along day to day but trying not to worry. I've done my best and know worrying accomplishes nothing. I am still doing and trying, but I am more focused on that which brings my heart joy. It simply makes me FEEL better, as I continue to trudge through the mandatory aspects of daily life. It seems contradictory when faced with potential homelessness in the near future to focus on efforts that bring me joy, but that's what I've been led to do.

Then I read the following quote this morning and it fits. I thought it may help someone else as well.

Godspeed, my friends....

:grouphug:

"Be easy about this. Be playful about it. Don't work so hard at it. Let your dominant intent to be to feel good, and if you don't feel good, then let your dominant intent be to feel relief. Feel your way through it. If you think your way through it, you can get off on all kinds of tangents. If you feel your way through it, you can come quickly to your Core Energy, and when you do that only good can then flow to you."

--- Abraham

1. Thanks, OGR
I hope it all works out for you. I hear you on the homeless thing -- I'm going through something similar myself, and if I let myself dwell on it, it terrifies me. Sending you love.

You and Abraham are correct. Changing our focus from fear, and giving this to the Universe to take care of is the best way to keep from losing our wits.

Sending you love, sweetie. Setting the intention that things improve for you dramatically.

2. I was hoping you'd see this...
I was going to reply in your thread but then did posted as an OP instead, so others could see as well.

I definitely am thinking of you, wishing you all you wish for yourself, holding your hand from afar. I empathize tremendously with your struggle.

4. Oh, I'll be fine....
One way or another. I've completely detached from nearly everything now, and that's a blessing.

What will be, will be. :)

I'm sorry. I didn't post as a request for others to be concerned for or about me. I simply wanted to share this quote, and gave the background as to why it impacted me so much this morning and why I wanted to share.

Thanks though, Kind of Blue!

5. Yeah, detached
Me too. Keeping my house and my thoughts clean, that's all I can do anymore. At least it doesn't hurt. Happy to report, though, that my mower did hold a charge (my only wish for myself the other day). You can't believe how happy that made me.

I'm glad the mower held the chart.

The simplest things can bring the most joy...or relief.

All of my thoughts are with you as you're going through this difficult time. Turning it over to The Universe is the best thing to do (IMHO). :grouphug:

9. Thanks for posting this OGR.
I know that we are all processing icky "junk" in order to release it, and boy does it SUCK the big one!!! lol. I really think the key is to detach, and once you do that, everything looks much better, because whatever happens, doesn't really matter one way or the other. I've found myself in this detach mode a few times after recent events which would normally upset me, and I don't know how I got there, but very grateful I found myself in that mode. If we can somehow let go of the worry and fear, then all of a sudden we're in a different frame of mind and I think, a much higher vibration. I also feel psychically, intuitively, whatever you want to call it, a knowing of sorts...that we are dipping in and out of a much higher energy. I've experienced this myself a few times over the last month, and I'm not sure how I get there, or more importantly what makes me come out of it, but I do intend to figure it out and will definitely share once I do! I too ran across some info this morning that may be helpful to all of us going through this stuff. I'm going to post it in a separate thread. Everyone I know is going through this, so at least we're all in it together!

10. using this pattern, and writing things on it
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=245&topic_id=110071

really helps me truly leave things to the universe. I do think it takes practice to get maximum leverage from it. But I feel so much better after I verbalize what it is I desire, specifically, on this pattern and then put it in a "good" energetic space.

20. I just looked at your chart, and you have quite a bit going on.
Several of these are transiting planets that are exactly quincunx/inconjunct (150 degrees) from your natal planets. Here's something that I found that describes the quincunx/inconjunct aspect:

Quincunx

This aspect is also known as an "Inconjunct." The influence of the Quincunx is very subtle, but often more powerful than the square or opposition aspect. When a quincunx occurs between planets in a horoscope, the individual feels that the functions of these two planets is somehow in opposition, yet requiring synthesis. The attempts of the individual to harmonize these forces produce a strain which is particularly distinctive. The individual is constantly attempting to unity these energies, but never quite succeeds. The effect is frustrating, grating, and abrasive, yet unless specifically pointed out, the individual may not even be aware that it's happening. The only solution is not to try harder at solving the problem consciously, but to leave it alone. The individual must bow his head in service to the two planets in aspect, and give up any conscious solution to the problem.

This is probably talking about two natal planets/points, but I'd think that it would still be descriptive of the energy of a transit as well.

I don't know if the astrologers in the group would agree with this description of the quincunx/inconjunct aspect, but the part in italics certainly seems to be what you're instinctively doing. I personally find quincunx/inconjunct aspects to be extremely powerful when they're exact (within 1 degree) as they are for you right now.

If you want more information, I'd be happy to talk to you on the phone. (Remember that I'm not even close to being an astrologer, so I can't interpret things. I can just point things out that I see.)

21. You guys are good....
Those of you working to understand and shed light on things for others. ;)

Thanks for the info, IHAD, but -- honestly -- I don't even try to understand any more, astrologically or otherwise. Nothing makes any sense to me, but I don't mean that in a negative way at all.

Not at all. It's a positive thing. :)

It's another form of release. It feels as though things are changing so rapidly, and there are simply so many unknowns -- more so than ever -- that trying to understand feels almost useless for me, personally.

Even if I understand what may be going on energetically/astrologically in the world -- or to me as an individual -- on any level, I haven't found that it helps me navigate things any more easily or wisely.

Not trying to understand may be the only thing that is saving my sanity.

I've released the need to understand and, instead, am truly following my heart. It's as though I no longer have any brain cells functioning, so I MUST rely on my heart.

:eyes:

Much :loveya: to you

22. Oh, OGR...
I am right there with you. I just keep putting one foot in front of the other -- doing nothing more than going through the motions and doing only what absolutely must be done.

Hey, it sounds as though you're becoming more of a "be'er" than a "do'er". Welcome to my world!

23. LOL!
Well, not yet...but I could certainly make that shift at any time. ;)

(As I think I mentioned to you, I want nothing more than to have a break for a couple of weeks...from everything, but without anything horrendous happening to cause it -- like me being in the hospital or something...lol.)

I'm still doing -- actually doing a lot -- but I'm only putting full energy into doing what my heart is pulling me toward, rather than my brain and the "shoulds."

Abraham group, do what makes you feel good - or better - right now. And the best part to me, when you can't figure that out, do nothing :D just be.
