A Happy Beltane (May Day) one and all, and may this new month of greening and warmth bring growth and light to all who visit this thread and ASAH!



The first day of May is opposite the Wheel of the Year from the sabbat of Samhain (Halloween) and is second only to Samhain for connection to the Other World, as the veil once again thins enough for us to more easily connect with the other side.

May everyone ("May everyone" get it? get it? :P) be open to the messages and guidance from the other side, even more important, be open to receive the vast outpourings of love from our departed loved ones and guides who are always sending us healing and support.

And may we all continue to lift one another up (as we do so well) and share our light with all who request healing, love, and prayers on this thread.

& my bank account. Things are still rolling in the right direction, so please keep the kind thoughts coming.

I'm also feeling a bit down in the dumps over not having a romantic partner. I've been ok with that for a while (say, almost 10 years), but now I want something more, or someone more really, if that makes any sense at all.

Okay, so I am on the mend from that hell-flu thing...still not feelilng 100%, meh (my freaking RIBS hurt from coughing and i am still gunky)

need some positivity for my abundance-manifestation techniques as well... I know I can shift my vibration to recieve more easily, so i need to let go of the muck and get on with my bad self...! (maybe the flu was a muck-release)

also, I'm getting riled up over my teen and it really doesn't need to be my issue. I run into folks in town that tell me bad gossip, and then I get mad cuz he is breaking the rules of the cabin and my mom isn't going to do a damn thing. and he knows it. and it just makes my blood boil...
so i *have* to start telling people that i don;t want to hear it, and if they want to talk about Trevor's antics they can call his grandma/landlady. and the little bugger can just go have his own life (he has spoken to me only a handful of times since his horrible rant, only because of mail or something like that, refuses to say he's sorry or even talk for more than two minutes.)
ugh...maybe i have a lingering case of the grumpies on top of the flu...

but i know the negative angst isn't helping my manifesting anything positive for myself...and it doesn;t make me very fun to live with, i have snapped at the little ones more than once this afternoon ...

please send good vibes for me to DETOX these emotions and everything else that is stuck in my space!

I'm not very well versed in astrology, but aren't Taurus New Moons the perfect time for manifesting? I believe that is today. Correct? Might need to get some of our astrologers to chime in on this one.

Me too, please. Picked up MG Jr's Fifth Disease which is TORTURE in an adult--can barely move from joint pain (esp fingers, wrists, ankles, and knees)...and I've read that this could go on for months! :cry:

6. I had an upper GI series today (May 4)

The x-rays showed a hiatal hernia, which is probably what's been causing my swallowing and eating problems and abdominal pain. I'm seeing a gastroenterologist on May 9, and might need an endoscopy.

Probably one reason I'm having these physical problems is because of stress involving my older daughter. The other is my bad tendency to bend over from the midsection to pull weeds, because my knees are getting creaky. And there are a lot of weeds!

I would be most grateful for your good wishes.

My best friend had surgery yesterday. She had a total hysterectomy & 18" of colon removed, plus two tumors that were found to be malignant. She'll need 6 months of chemo. At this writing, we think the doctors got everything. Prayers & healing for a full & speedy recovery would be deeply appreciated. 23. need strength today...

the secondary infection is still seriously lingering, my moontime is raging, and i have to spend the day at the baseball field !(no toilets? oh noes!)

today is opening day, team breakfast at 9, opening ceremonies at 10, team pictures at 12, game at 2... the whole day is a stretch and I am trying to stay positive while worrying about my health and wanting the kids to have fun...

hoping that the time spent sitting at the games in the sun will help heal me quicker. more LIGHT, please!

29. Help! ...sickness won;t go away!

my rheumatoligist said that if the original z-pak didn;t work, because my immune system is so bonked from the Enbrel, that i may need a 10 day run of amoxicillin...so i have another dr appt today.

i hate being sick! and now the stuff in my sinuses is blocking up my eye, so i have a big swollen eye that looks like i got decked!

can i just crawl under a rock until june!?

nooooo...i hvae tons of stuff to DO!

need health and energy and then i can start walking again and try to lose this weight that makes me feel like a big blob.

32. omg...this sinus thing is killing me

woke up at 6am with big pain in mah head! so bad it woke me up...i took some tylenol, tried to lay down again, and ended up throwing up the water and medicine... i am useless today.every time i cough it feels like my head is gonna explode... trying to ingest some caffiene to see if it helps

Just found out that a good friend passed away this weekend. He apparently fell and broke his neck in the bathroom saturday and was found by a neighbor sunday...

he was't yet 40, and was an incredible mucisian
I know lots of spirits are contracted to leave the planet before the shit hits the fan, but this feels so shocking
it goes to show that this is more than just a generational shift,

and i pray for his spirit to be happy wherever he is playing guitar now :loveya: :cry:

38. This week is going to be very rough for me.

I've got a lot of emotional stuff going down (some of you know the details); and on top of what is *already* happening, a close roommate/friend is leaving on Thursday; and on Friday husband has his final court date. This *could* mean serious (up to 2 years) jail time if the judge sees fit to do so. The SAME DAY is the ten year anniversary of my fiance's passing in the motorcycle wreck.

I'm basically functioning as a single mother since husband is mostly gone all week working in other cities.I don't know how those of you who really are single mothers did it. My stress level is pretty high,but I'm doing the best to be mindful of relaxing and taking each moment as it comes. I just really need some support in remembering to stay in love and not in anger, resentment, or fear. There seem to be some great opportunities coming my way spiritually right now, and I don't want to waste a moment of them.

One thing is for sure, just being here and checking in with us is helping you stay grounded, i can feel that. Give yourself some credit that even with the drama and stuff flying about, you have the where with all to seek those who can offer healing, and you KNOW how to give that peace to yourself, even in stolen moments of breathing ;)
and stolen breathing and grounding is sometimes all we can hope for!

The 'pain blanket' is settling into my bones and tissues, my hands are so swollen that the tips of my fingers feel like pins & needles half the time...
the weather finally cleared, i am desperate to try and take a walk today

(been on & off antibiotics for three+ weeks, it's been over a month since my last enbrel shot and the arthritis is getting narly again...)

I need help getting the last of this sinus thing gone so I can get back on track and start moving again!
I also need strength to break this winter hibernation habit of staying up too late and smoking and drinking and watching tv...the urge to comepletely zone out and disconnect is SO powerful. I guess it also has to do with the pain and wanting to 'get out of my body'
I just want this body to feel better, and get lighter to carry around... please send helpful vibes and any detox or shifting help you can offer....advice on good ways to clear the system is welcome too. I need a drastic shift! these cells feel so DENSE! :cry:

been getting better (after a freaking month!)and i am trying to pick up the pieces of my house, which went to seed as i was unable to mop, etc.

got a couple fear and anger peices I am trying to deal with today

Fear = job money rent etc...needing to have it but not liking feeling poverty, knowing i am manifesting more of it by feeling fear and angst

anger= my mom and teen in general. teen is still an irresponsible brat, and my mom is still taking care of his every need. this time it was about his suit that he needed for his girlfirneds high school dance, wasn;t on the hanger stuff she took to him last time she stopped by...good thing I noticed them in a drawer when i moved his stuff out of the bedroom...so i found his suit wadded up in a drawer with videogames (not even in the dresser, so ya)and somehow it is my fault his stuff is messed up. gah!

going to turn on the radio and do my "pre-clean" before my friend comes to help with the hard stuff tomorrow... get the ickies out of my space!

54. My husband's family wants me to write the "family saga"

I realize this is a ridiculous thing to ask for help with, but this is going to be the sticky wicket of all sticky wickets.

My husband's family has decided that they want a novel written about their family history. They want me to do it. I was previously approached by our grandma, who wanted me to write something five years ago. I declined. Some of this family history is explosive. It would be painful to our grandpa, who married into the family. He is an author as well, but they have not asked him, seeing as how he would be unhappy with the contents.

Please send good thoughts, prayers, or whatever that I have the words to say "no" in such a way that it will not cause additional problems.
