Quick dream interp request: riding my bicycle on the edge of a cliff.
That's it. That's the whole dream. Well, to be more precise it was the edge of a very steep cliff (red basalt, an Oregon favorite.) Basic two wheel bicycle, red paint, black wheels. And I woke up as I started to slip over the edge.

1. Girl. . .you'd better watch your step. . .
Well more like watch your wheels and/or your trajectory.

Would be curious as to what's up with your Mars or transiting Mars and possibly Uranus right now.

Though this is only a quickie superficial interpretation, the image conveys the need to really pay attention and stay centered right now.

I'd have to know your associations with bikes and cliffs in general to go any deeper.

Any grounding, centering, affirmations or purification rituals which work for you would be highly recommended.

Oh and the title of this response was ripped off from an Elivis Costello refrain to which the imaginary Ipod in my cranium shuffled upon reading your thread.

Wasn't intended to be threatening at all.

Can't remember the name of the song or I'd YouTube it for ya.

:grouphug:

You'll be fine I'm sure. Yet those sorts of dreams can be really unsettling. They're usually only sort of like "Yoo Hoooooo" messages from the unconscious.

Perhaps it's best to take them as such.

2. Falling, in dreams, can have varying meaning

It can represent losing control or letting go.

The dream can end in terror - or in flight and freedom - if it continues.

What do red basalt and Oregon represent as symbols for you? The cliff represents risk, fear formidable challenges.

What else in your life is red and black? What do those colors symbolize, even randomly? There isn't trust in them in the dream. They are about to fail...or you are about to go for an airborne bike ride :)

Dreams draw from so many daily events, thoughts and impressions. TV commercials, books we're reading, conversations we've had.

Then our brain tries to assemble all those flashes as some sort of narrative. I always have fun trying to piece it all together...

like many, having plenty of dreams I puzzle over lately... :hi:
