This thread is started with the intention that it draw money, abundance, prosperity or other sustenance to the members who post in it.

That's about all I've got. If others want to add more fanfare to this thing, I think that could help. I will be burning a candle for abundance later today, to see if that helps this along.

1. What specific amount do you want to draw?

A dollar or two for a soda or enough to buy me lunch? :)

I think specifics are very important. IE: My husband was looking for rubber bands earlier this year. Found one for his needs and then complained that he kept finding them on sidewalks, in random pockets, in drawers when he wasn't looking for them anymore. I suggested he use that imagery in a more productive way - maybe start looking for 100 dollar bills. Well, his next few clients paid him in cash - in 100 dollar bills. This reminds me we should play that game again.

2. It is my intention

that I be completely out of debt by end of Q1 2011. For that to become my reality, I am asking the Universe to provide me with enough paying clients to make it so.

Spent another day in the ER yesterday. Long story....evidently not worth telling...forgive my bitterness. I'm asking the Universe for enough money to pay off my debts, prepay for my funeral, and leave each of my children with an amount of money to meet their needs, and give them peace of mind! Whatever inheritance they might have received from me..will be "eaten up" by the State of Ct. They have to recoup the funds they are spending for my care until I die, from my home..they are getting the short end I'm afraid..because my earthly goods are in the $100,000 range!
I was so hoping to be able to get a little car to tool around in while I could still drive...but am getting ready to junk the old one so the Park owner doesn't have to plow around it this winter. COme on money!! I'll settle for a few million!

34. Too damn tired to hang on.

I went into hospital feeling like I had pneumonia...cause even with the oxygen on, I was starved for air! No cough and no signs on Xrays of it,,yet..but I've had it before and had no feveror nothing on xrays!! I've been nauseated constantly for over a week like I was pregnant. Got a wheelchair delivered to my house today, and my arms are too weak to wheel myself around. My spinal procedure is in the early AM on an out patient status. If I still can't walk...I hope they will send me to the hospital and MAKE them admit me, otherwise put me to sleep and don't wake me up. I'm dead serious. I'm jotting this tonight just before I take my sleep med for bed, 'cause I have to be up at 6 AM. Pray for me guys,....and if you don't hear from me in a while you'll know why!! You are all very special to me, and I'll try to have my daughter keep you posted in case I can't! BIG HUGS and MUCH LOVE to all!

14. I've been told that it's very important to use the word...

prosperity rather than simply the word abundance, so I like how you used it, MG. The same goes for your "effortless" comment. Let it be quick and easy and only good things associated with it. Your "harming none" comment is important too because someone could become rich by being in an accident, having someone they love die, etc.

I just want enough... not more than I need, just ENOUGH. And by enough, I mean enough to live comfortably, pay my bills, get out of debt, AND have some left over to save and use to help others. Right now, this means some kind of work, a job. Period. Preferably something that fulfills my idea of 'right livelihood,' but honestly, anything at all would help. I also do not wish to come into prosperity through the misfortune, or even death, of someone else. I want to put that out there firmly to cover that base (as in covering all the bases).

The Law of Unintended Consequences can be a real bitch sometimes. The old adage: "Be careful what you wish for... you just might get it..." often refers to such scenarios, where what you thought you were asking to manifest and what actually does manifest are not always quite the same thing. Same end result, but the means of getting there wasn't particularly how you were thinking of it happening.

I've been out of work since May, 2009, except for a few part time jobs here and there. I'm going to ask the universe for a good job that will help us pay the bills, and one that will also let me stay in school (I'm working on a Ph.D. in the meantime) until I get done with the coursework. That is not too much to ask. I have applied for everything that is a fit, and have yet to get an interview (actually, I had one interview, a year ago.) Problems are over-qualification and age (I just turned 60 in September). Lots of people are dealing with this, and I know I'm not alone. I know that asking for what you need works. I have done it before, but not for anything as important as this.
So, I'm asking.

...as an activist for the poor and someone who has been low income all my life, it is getting pretty scary out here for those in poverty. We have lived through punitive and very harsh times already when we work as hard, if not harder than most people only to find ourselves worse than when we started. While this entails money in some ways, it more entails respect for the hard work of all, no matter what they do and make. This respect would lead to a better safety net for all, including those falling through the cracks from middle lass to poverty at this time. Please pray that the mood of the country will change so it no longer blames the poor but sees poverty for what it really is: an Institution that is based on racism, sexism, ageism and classism that has nothing to do with whether a person "chooses" poverty, but on the color of their skin, the class they are in, the age the are and/or their sex.

I pray for a better outlook for all and this respect will manifest into making things better, equally aloting enough for all, according to their needs.

47. I have landed a good job where I am treated well (YAY)

It is a contract position so I would like for it to become permanent and a raise would be nice at the same time. I need a new roof and someone to do my yardwork...(damn knee issues).

Now if they could just fix up my knee (permanently) which has been wearing me down for months I would be so very happy. Constant pain just wears a body out.

As I now see it, I need enough $$ to either be able to hire an attorney to remove this person's sabotaging energy, or enough $$ to totally buy out this person's interests and take care of other expenses in order to move forward with clarity and positivity.
