Is anybody here a Violet Person?

I have read about violets and indigos. I am right in the middle of the Baby Boomers (1955).

I took a quiz online and the thing that told me I was a violet, was that I have always felt I have some major purpose in life, and I'm supposed to do something great.

1. The only violet I know of in my life is my crown chakra ;)

and a rough ability to do Violet Flame Healing (energy healing, usually from a distance.)

I don't really know much about how the various color designations are determined. I don't think I've ever taken such a test, either, as it seems like they're always of generations much later than mine. There are "Indigo Scouts" and I don't know what generation they're from either.

Doreen Virtue has written a fair amount on some of the newer color-generations including "crystal" children if you want to look her up. I'm sure there are other sources, too. I know of a site that used to have many different "waves" of children to come or coming now, only they took that portion down and now it's only available on archive.org. I'll post the links I have tomorrow (probably late afternoon or evening as I'm going to bed now.) Remind me or PM me and I'll send the documents I made last year :)

6. Is there a difference between Violets and Indigos?

I get the feeling my 7 year old niece is an Indigo, she is soooo sharp and ultra perceptive.

My son is Indigo.

I totally relate to the feeling like you are here to do something. My issue is-- If I'm here to do something.. can someone/something please tell me exactly what it is? Then I can get to work and get it done. This limbo, guessing and trying one thing or another is pissing me off. A sterling waste of energy and time. Seriously, why all the secrecy?

(Maybe we are like those sleeper cylons.... we'll run the program when the right time comes..... lol)

15. Ohhhh I get it now--that's entirely different

Indigos and crystals aren't so named for their aura colors, but because the woman who first identified indigos had synesthesia--you know, people who can taste color, etc. She saw these different children as indigo. So the test you're talking about identifies people's dominant aura colors, or the vibration frequencies they carry that are predominant in their energy fields. No longer confused! :hi:

Indigo had the strongest number (11), and the other 4 were exactly the same (9). Wonder what to make of that? Interesting.

Seems I am mostly crystal and blue. Interesting. I also have the "red overlay" which after reading about it is not surprising, since my mother and I both almost died when I was born then I almost died again from pneumonia when I was a year old.

I've always felt exceptionally uncomfortably different than the people around me, and usually take no end of crap for it...I really wish that I hadn't had (and would cease to continue to have) this experience; other "red overlayers" might agree. Her test gave me a bit of needed insight into that.

It grates upon me because at my core, I =know= that co-operation is the standard, not the astonishing exception, that groups of multiply-talented people get together to create new things, and that it is based upon joy. That's what is supposed to be, and I achingly await its establishment/return upon this world. Achingly.

I can't say if I'm "crystal" as described around the net and in literature, but if Indigo is "higher" in vibration, I didn't get that many points in that part as compared to Crystal and by one point difference, lavender.

I have a significantly positive nature, perverted by these lower experiences and traits. My ability to release them is speeding up based upon the significant shifts in the world; I hope that it is the same for you. One reading I had told me that I am indeed supposed to release such negative traces as being an asshole, selfishness, bullying, insensitivity to others, etc. And it's working. The painful way, some may be happy to know.
