I just remembered a dream I had last summer that I posted over at our other place at the time. It was a gathering of this group in a pale/creamy yellow house that was in a small town. You could see straight through the house because the front and back doors were open due to the heat. Everyone was around in groups, people moving around inside, coming down the stairs, talking and laughing, some in deep discussions.

Blah, blah, blah - it was one of the most enjoyable relaxing day in that house, all of us drinking lemonade from tall wet glasses. Summer dresses, grass that needed mowing and fireflies. I can still see that house now, that I think must be a personification of this group. :hug:

31. Thanks everyone!

I have been spending most of my time alone with my dog and cat lately, and of course, my husband, when he is home. My aloneness is self-imposed. This is supposed to be a learning and growing time for me. I will know when it is time to get back out into the world again.

My daughter brought me a cake Sunday. Everyone called. I went to the jewelry store and picked out a setting for a pendant. The small diamond that my husband gave me thirty-two years ago as an engagement ring will be set in the pendant. Then I walked with my dog and read. My husband is working second shift and gets home late. That is fine for both of us for now.

It was a good day. Thanks for all the good birthday wishes!
