Thoughts for my mother

She has been having some issues related to a compressed spine (numb hands, weak legs, a couple of falls) and will be having surgery, possibly as soon as tomorrow. And the larger picture us that she probably won't be able to continue living on her own, so us siblings are having to hurry and get a few ducks in order too.

Mom has had her surgery and is already home and recovering. Still up in the air about long-term plans, but the short-term seems to be sorting itself out!
