I just got a Matthew Message email

It is from Matthew's mom, who says she has to discontinue Messages from Matthew because she has to spend all of her time taking care of "Tom" (?), I believe. Does anyone know anything else?

Is Tom her husband? Oh man. This breaks my damn heart for real. I checked the Matthew's Messages site and there's nothing up there about it.

IIRC, I believe Tom is her husband, and I believe he has had health problems before. When she took a break last year, it was to care for him. I could be wrong on that, however. It's been a while since I e-mailed her.

In any case, I'm terribly sorry to hear this. I know that Suzy's information from Matthew resonated with some people and not with others, but I believe overall she was truly sincere in her efforts to channel information accurately.

I will miss her and Matthew's messages, and I hope she will be able to start again sometime in the future. :(

3. I gathered from the her posting

messages will be only suspended for now so that she can care for Bob (don't know who is Bob either -- husband maybe), but I think if Matthew has a message he'll find a way of getting it to us.

4. Serious question. If the material is being channeled, why does Suzy

need so much time to pull it together. Wouldn't she be basically a stenographer who would just need to do some editing for punctution and spelliing? How long would that take? That has always kind of bugged me about matthew messages. ("E.g. there won't be a message next moth because I'm moving,need to take a break, etc.") How much work or time could it take if the material is basically being given to her by an entity? I could understand her needing to take a break etc. if she were writing it herself. don't get it. Can someone explain what I may be missing here?

Dream Girl, one is not simply a stenographer. One must make oneself available which usually requires some real quiet and alone time. The process is not simply one of writing down words.

and enjoy yourself. I agree with you about Suzy's work on the messages from Matthew. I think the messages don't come through all at one time and probably come through as streams of thought and Suzy has to do a lot of work making them readable. She also does work with dog rescue in addition to taking care of her sick husband, Bob, who apparently isn't doing so well these days.

7. Thanks for the explanation. I was thinking more of the Seth channelings

which apparently came through as a flow. I've seen Jane Roberts videos as well and she just spoke while her husband Robert Burns(?) transcribed the sessions. I'd assumed that the Matthew messages came through in much the same way. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy and value the messages from Matthew but just had questions about a few things.

When I bring through messages from guides in Spirit, they do come fully formed (for me) but they're not as long nor as in depth as Matthew's messages are. I believe he has a very high vibration and it takes work to reach it from here and for them to step it down from there (that's my understanding of how it works). I suspect that given her earthly duties tending to her husband, it takes a lot more energy from her to reach that vibration. (Not that there's anything I believe she has to actively do, such as chant or whatever but when you are focused on being grounded to care for another, it makes it harder to reach that vibration. That's my feeling about it. I could be totally off-base, so feel free to correct me.)
