The eclipses are coming! The eclipses are coming! And the summer solstice too! And the cardinal t-square is starting to get tighter and tighter as it moves towards early August! And a WHOLE bunch of other stuff that would be enough to write three columns on. AND it is a TWO page week~ meaning there were lots of aspects in the sky as it took two typed pages for my computer to describe them all!

So have you noticed the change in the energy in the air? Have you felt the shift into action taking fire passion, irritated I want to move things forward? Have you found yourself in wow that was an unexplained power struggle that popped up out of no place? Have you been pushing against what you perceived as “bad authority” or been accused of being a “bad authority” yourself? All part of the looming t-square!

This week, the Sun moves into Cancer as summer begins. Sun will aspect each of the legs and set off the energy of the loose t-square formed in the sky so we will get a sense of what is to come in the weeks ahead as the t-square tightens and tightens and tightens like a vise in the sky.

We have the first of the eclipses, a Full Moon or Lunar Eclipse, on Saturn’s day, June 26, at 4:46 Cancer Sun Capricorn Moon. Capricorn Moon sits on Pluto and the North Node of Destiny, suggesting permanent changes in the structures of your life as Capricorn Node answers to Saturn. Cancer Sun, on the South Node of RELEASING past life (and current life) karma, lets go of the things that no longer have a place in your life. Eclipses are very life altering cosmic events where leaders fall or step down, final or major decisions about life directions are made, people end relationships and folks that are lingering or having serious health crises can leave the planet. (side note: my sister called yesterday to double-check my mailing address. She is sending me something...it was very important to her that I get it by this Saturday...:hug::cry::hug:)

2. ... things must be in motion already ...

.... i started out the day in a perfectly good mood and had a basically unremarkable day at work, but all of the sudden around 3pm EST, a cloud of a low-boiling rage set on me and for the life of me I can't figure out why.

Listened to a ton of Nick Drake to try to mellow out, and took my poor dog for a 5 mile walk (he's already snoring!) and I'm just now loosening up from the grasp of whatever it is. The intensity of this emotion is almost frightening, I can't imagine what tomorrow and Saturday might bring!!

3. Well, I've been crying at the drop of a hat

and it's NOT even that time of the month. :P Will eclipses cause such reflection and angst? I feel like I have major mood swings, one minute I am great, and the next I am just weepy.

will it cause people to have volatile overreactions to things? I just dropped in to DU a few minutes ago and have already read terrible posts all over the place, with people taking offense at the weirdest, most innocuous stuff--and I haven't even been in to GD yet! :shrug:

6. OMG, my mother is an Aries, and she has been

SUCH a pain in the ass these past few weeks. She's having a bunionectomy on 7/6 and you'd THINK she was having her foot amputated. It's like everything is a total crisis for her, she cannot simply function right now. :-/

5. a way forward has been opening for me this week

1. Several weeks ago, my co-student was talking about his work-at-home making mats from rope. I told him I would *love* to do something like that. He said he'd ask about it at the factory, but looked put out. And continued grumpy and irritable for the next few weeks, so I figured no chance.

Well on Wednesday morning, out of the blue, he started talking about how his sister, who has been helping him, is leaving for college in the fall and he needs to make 50/week minimum and she was doing 30 and etc. etc. etc. It took some doing to "wake him up" but he finally figured out that *I CAN DO IT YOU BLOCKHEAD!!!!!!!!* :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: This will give me the flexible income I need to continue through my clinical training.


2. Last week I started chatting (online) a bit with a young co-worker -- I don't usually gossip *at all* but 2 people in our group, one of whom sits by me and the other by her, obviously have something going on and since the one near me has 2 children and is married ...to a 3rd co-worker's brother :wow:, well...I had to find out what the heck is going on?!?

Anyway, Wednesday evening, she picked up the chatting again, but got going about her sideline of clamming. Next thing ya know, she told me everything I need to get started, how much she makes at it ($100-200/hour!!!!!! seasonal and limited # of hours -- but nice chunk of extra income). She is a sweet, sweet, sweet young woman and is helping me get started. 10 hours volunteering this summer will mean clamming next summer :D :D :D to help start paying off those student loans and taking care of things that are sliding around here.
